I have attached 4 big ceiling mounted speaker and though im skeptic it would work, guess what? it worked! Put it in full blast and it is loud, not as super loud as expensive equipment we have right now. But still, this device can compete and provide you better quality without. I like the fact it is also an MP3 player. But you need to make sure the external storage (USB or SDCARD) is formated as FAT/FAT32 system. It cannot read NTFS (I never tried the Mac version file system). If in doubt, just use the FAT32 file system to store your musics. I have also used RCA connection with my old DVD player and microphone system, as usual, it worked pretty well.. it boost the sound significantly. As of this writing, I have just connected by phone via BT, I went outside and it's still picking up my BT signal..
