Excited to use and hopefully I will get results other video cameras haven’t been able to get.

It is unobtrusive and I doubt anyone would know it was there recording them.The picture quality is not super great and gets worse in low light. Not awesome for a security camera where details may matter.It starts recording as soon as you plug it in, and in motion detect mode will only record if it detects motion. It takes a few seconds for it to detect and to start recording missing the first part of whatever triggered it. Also the motion detect is very sensitive. I had it opposite a clock on the wall and the second hand would regularly trigger the detection.As it's pretending to be a USB charger (it does charge) you should probably put it where you would expect to charge, but this means an outlet and most outlets are near the floor or behind other objects. When you look around your house there are actually very few places that are suitable to record from if you can only choose outlets. The kitchen is a decent place as the outlets above the counter have a good height, but that's really it unless you run an extension cord and then everything starts getting fishy. Most other outlets are shin height so you just get a bunch of legs walking around unless it's recording from the other end of the room. You should probably have something charging in it or at least a cord hanging out of it to throw people off, but you can see the cord in the recordings. Don't put it in the bathroom you weirdo.It comes with an SD card, but it's not very large capacity and you'll definitely want to replace that with something bigger so it's not overwriting itself as frequently. It's also really annoying to have to edit a text file to have the correct date and time for the videos every single time the device cycles power.I didn't have any issues watching the videos, but I've been using VLC exclusively for that purpose for a long time. If you do it correctly then the videos will have a filename with the date and time, otherwise you have to guess. Or maybe throw a calendar in front of the camera for it to record the first file.It's really simple to use, but it's pretty limited in what it can do. I wouldn't rely on it for any primary security.

I guess I didn’t read the fine print because this camera doesn’t record sound. It doesn’t require WiFi which is good but the ere are others that record sound.

It took me a while to figure out this camera due to confusion when I read the instructions. The instructions are clear but one item was incorrect. It said a micro SD card was not included. However, when you read the listing, it does say the SD card is indeed included. I have not tried to eject the SD card because I do t have one to replace it currently and don’t want to mess anything up. The instructions do not list the items contained in the kit but if you read the labels on the items, they will indicate their function.I’m assuming the SD card is inside the device since I was able to retrieve the video after testing a short recording session. The video is relatively clear. It was easy to connect the USB cable to my laptop with the included attachments to view the video. The only feature missing from this camera is sound.

Easy set up. Works great! Allows me to keep an eye on my dogs.

I'm happy with this camera. The only negative, in my opinion, is that it doesn't have any kind of night vision. For the price, I think it should have this feature. It did feel a little icky that the camera comes with a bunch of stickers to cover up the memory card slot to make the charger "look" more like a charger and hide that it is a camera. I'm not sure why you'd need this feature if you're just using this for personal use... Otherwise, the camera works well, and we haven't had any issues with it.
