Q: This product says it's 35.2 oz and to use 2.5 oz per gal. So that's about 14 gal total. Why does the purple label say ''makes up to 23 Gallons'' ?

2.5 oz per gallon of water is the standard, recommended mix. A couple of lines down on the mixing instructions, it says you can use 1.5 oz per gallon for "weed seedlings", hence their "marketing mathematics!

Q: Does this kill humans as well as weeds?

It is harmless to humans, animals, and insects. It doesn't leech or accumulate and is broken down by bacteria in a few days. It does have some surfactant soap in it, similar to dawn dish soap, which isn't good for fish. Tort attorneys and the organic industry have been advertising false conspiracy theories that say otherwise. Christopher Portier at the IARC in 2014 had it classified as a class 2a probable carcinogen the same as fried food and red meat, but he was employed by the tort attorneys in the Roundup cases and gladly accepted $160,000 for the favor. The parent organization of the IARC, the WHO later stated in 2016 that it isn't a cancer risk, along with the USDA, FDA, EPA, Health Canada, European Food Safety Authority, and many other regulatory agencies. It is one of the few things that does not need a California cancer label.

Q: What is the Expiration date?

The bottle I received does not have an expiration date stamped on it.

Q: does it kill poison ivy?

You can add in a cup of bleach per gallon and it will cut through the wax on the poison ivy. The same is true other plants with waxy coatings.
