Very comfy!
Fits perfectly, great footbed cushioning. I wore these for a week straight in Scotland and walked at least 10 miles every day in them - not even a hint of a blister or any kind of pain due to the shoe itself, and absorbed all the shock of pounding pavement for many hours a day. Also excellent for hiking in the woods as the log sole is super grippy and non-slippy. Used waterproofing spray on them and highly recommend - moisture, mud, leaves pretty much disappear once they're off and drying. I like these so much I think I'll splurge on a pair in black so I can wear them to work (the terracotta color is awesome though).

Best dog walking winter shoe!
This is my third pair of Merrill Mocs through the years. Comfortable, warm, sturdy walking shoe but with a flexible sole for distance walking. The construction of this shoe has changed with each pair. This pair are the best of the bunch as far as the elastic goring and comfort. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the treads don’t seem to be as deep as previous versions and therefore a little more slippery than pairs gone by. Best dog walking, errand running winter shoe!

Great Arch Support
My husband has had a pair of these shoes for over a year and swears by them. I tried them on at my local shoe store but they were 80. Found them on Amazon for less so I finally caved and bought a pair.Although not the most stylish, they are incredibly comfortable. The foot bed is so comfortable and has great support for high arches. If you are in between sizes, I recommend ordering the larger of the two. They hug your feet but I think they will stretch over time. These will be great to slip on for letting the dog out on cold Wisconsin days!

THEY ARE BURNT ORANGE TO ME, JUST EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED
THE COLOR TO ME IS MORE BURNT ORANGE THAN RED, LIKE THE PHOTO. THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE. THIS IS THE SECOND PAIR I HAVE BOUGHT. THE FIRST LASTED YEARS AND I WORE THEM PRACTICALLY EVERY DAY. NOW I HAVE ORTHO INSERTS AND THEY FIT INTO THEM. THESE ARE EASY TO SLIP ON AND OFF IN THE WINTER. THEY ARE WARM AND PROTECT YOUR FEET FROM A FEW INCHES OF SNOW. I LIVE IN OHIO AND THEY WORK WELL!

Just ok
As others have written, these are not Merrells of old. Still solid construction but the fit is strange. My older pairs of Merrells fit like a glove the very first time I wore them. These new ones run long and have a narrow toebox but a wide heel. Arch support is not as good and the sole is higher on the outside edge than the outside. They are comfortable enough for everyday wear but wouldn’t recommend them for long distance walking, which is what I wanted them for. I’ll keep these but probably won’t buy Merrell again. Just not worth $80 anymore.

Fit is great, no break-in period, very comfortable
I've always loved Merrell shoes and these are my favorites. I'm cold natured and these keep my feet warm on cold shop floors. After being on my feet for about 4 hours the bottoms of my feet and my heels begin hurting. I wore these all day the first day I had them, about 10 hours. When I took them off that night I suddenly realized that my feet didn't hurt! Wow! Same for day 2! I just can't tell you how thrilled I am! I hope they make a "net" type upper for summer! A slip on bootie with the same sole would also be great!

Bad quality control
I love Merrells. I live in them. But I sadly have to agree with the other reviewer who said it's better to buy these at an actual store. One shoe was smaller than the other, not a different size, just smaller. Just too tight to be comfortable and I know it would be painful in the end. Returned (:

They arrived and they conquered!
These arrived a few hours before my flight to Sweden and I'm so glad they made it!! I had an older pair of men's that I've worn on other trips, so I knew they'd be convenient and relatively comfortable right out of the box, but the women's definitely fit my foot better. My foot would slosh around a bit in the men's, which caused me to wear thick socks, which caused my feet to sweat, which would cause blisters after a couple days. I wear between a 9.5 & 10 in women's, so reading the reviews, I got the 10. They were perfectly snug and, to my surprise, I chose to wear them almost every day of the trip instead of my snow boots. Not once did my feet get wet, nor did I get a single blister, nor did I fall on ice. And we walked a TON, with lots of ice and snow, for 7 days.

lightweight, but supportive and durable
I've had these before, they're not cheap, but they are very comfortable. They're light, supportive and don't lose their shape over time. I spray the suede with a protectant, but the shoes themselves are fairly waterproof and they've stood up to years of rockhopping up and down the local shoreline several times a day.I'm happy to wear them out and about in bad weather, and they're stable on slippy ground, though for really rough terrain you might want something that also supports the ankels.

disappointed in my latest pair of Merrells
Don't be fooled by the look these will come up a size smaller than your trainer size. To be honest my first pair of Jungle mocs way back were what converted me to Merrell shoes. There were like walking on air and I never had a blister from them from day one. I believe these are now manufactured in a different place (although I'd have to check to be sure) but they are not as comfortable as my original pair. Even 3 weeks in wearing them almost daily, I still get blisters on one heel and the foot-bed doesn't feel as comfortable. In fact one of them feels a bit lumpy. They are pretty light and maybe the pair I got are slightly defective but I think if this pair had been my first pair of Merrells I may never have bought another pair.

Simply Brilliant Shoes
Ifirst bought these shoes two years ago because my work life means I have to travel a great deal, to be on my feet a lot and to need to look reasonably smart whilst doing so. I decided to invest in Merrells because a colleague recommended them as 'the best' in this style. They weren't cheap but I was delighted with them when they arrived and gave them a huge amount of wear over the ensuing period. I've just now taken delivery of a new pair. The shoes are beautifully made, every detail a work of art. They grip on wet pavements or thin ice and are wonderfuly kind to the broader foot. These shoes are sturdily made and warm enough for the British winter. The insides have a deodorising effect which makes them much easier to wear than trainers. They do come up somewhat large for the shoe size - I am used to having to order a half size larger in shoes but in this brand I don't need to. There is also room in them for a pair of smart winter socks (not the big fat woolly sort, but thick work socks). These shoes have no fiddly laces etc and are suitable for those with a visual disability.

They've changed the fit!
This was my 3rd pair of these shoes and I don't know what has changed but the fit is very tight and very uncomfortable and also painful after a short time. I got these shoes in October '19, it is now January 2020 and although I haven't worn them much (too uncomfortable) they show no sign of stretching a little. I didn't return them as I thought they would "give" slightly as my others have done but I am going to have to give up on them although they were not inexpensive. Not happy!!

Gorgeous colour and fab quality.
Lovely shoe, lovely colour but sadly just too tight across my instep. I am needing a shoe to slip on and off easily for my hols but these were not quite right for me. Bit of a wriggle in if like me you have a high instep. Great delivery and well packaged.
