Hot Wheels GXX41 Mario Kart Rainbow Road Raceway, Ages 3 and up

This was bought as a Christmas present for our youngest son. It’s a really nice set, clips together reasonably easily, and is generally a lot of fun. As it has 5 lanes, it is a lot of fun to use. This is very much designed for the Hot Wheels Mario Kart cars and my son’s Tomica are generally too wide to be used, and stop on the corners. The levers that activate the weapons also don’t suit a lot of other vehicles so if you wanted to race non Mario Kart cars, this may not be the ideal choice. As my son had a lot already, he loves it and also happy to get King Boo and yet another Mario.The price point was around ¥10,000 and I would say this seems a little high, but is about right. I wouldn’t have been happy to pay more though as the plastic is a little flimsy in places. Some of the Hot Wheels sets seem a bit too expensive for what they are.Taking it apart is quite difficult and I don’t think the designers considered this. You’ll need a rounded flat edge to wedge between clips and tabs to have any chance of dismantling it and I’m not sure how many times you could do this before things start breaking off.Lots of fun and still being played with 8 months later, just be aware of the effort involved in dismantling.

The media could not be loaded. キングテレサ欲しさについつい買ってしまいました。とにかくデカいので設置が大変です。車はコースを滑り降りるだけなので騒音もなく無理な力がかからなくていいです。スタートとゴールが音と光で演出されているので楽しいです。子供はここが一番気に入ったようです。途中の障害を有りモードにするとランダムで壁が出現して早い車が必ずしも1位になるわけじゃないので面白いです。マリカー以外にもいろいろ走らせて楽しめそう。【追記】組立ての難易度はそこそこですが、バラしは子供にはできません。マイナスドライバーでツメをたわませながらじゃないと引っこ抜けないものが多いです。
