The Bluesound node 2i(which I am currently listening to as f 3:19pm central time 4/26) already has a solid inboard day. In my opinion I don’t think you will notice a difference if any at all. To give you a reference of my home stereo: McIntosh mx113 preamp, Mc250 amp, Gr Research XStatic speakers. The sound is incredible… separation, detailed, amazing soundstage, no fatigue while listening and the list goes on. An example of the sound; Bottom by the band Tool at 3:15 Henry Rollins comes in and my system he is my left about 4-5 feet away while the song plays on. Enough of long winded answer back to listening.
