If this doesn't say J1 at the end of the model name, does that mean it isn't made in Japan? Where is it made?

J1 means that the watch was made specifically for the Japanese market and not for the rest of the world. They can be assembled in Malaysia or Singapore but I don't believe this model is. I had the same thought before purchasing mine, but happily it is made in Japan. If it isn't it will say Japan Mov't on the dial and made in Malaysia on the caseback. Otherwise it will have made in Japan on the dial and the caseback.

Seiko,presage my watch runs about 7-10 minutes in 24 hr time. What should I do ?

It’s possible that the balance spring is magnetized. I’d take it to a jewelry store. They should be able to demagnetize it for very little cost. Or you could buy a watch demagnetizer on Amazon and do it yourself. The machines are relatively inexpensive.

Will this come with a warranty card?

Very pleased with the watch, looks and feels wonderful. That being said, the comments about the band feeling cheap are not wrong. I will definitely be ordering a 20mm lug replacement band. Still totally worth the buy! Great addition to my elevated formal wear without being over the top.
