Street Balance Bike with Brake, Pink - for Kids & Toddlers Ages 2,3,4,5

GREAT first bike. My husband did lots of research. We skipped the tricycle in favor of a balance bike (had read it helps them learn a real 2-wheeler even faster/better). I can see why. Got this for our daughter's third birthday and she has taken to it amazingly. Every time she gets on it, she gets better and better. We've only had it about 1 month and she's already getting the hand of the handbrake and - picking her feet up. Recommend the lowering kit as well, which has been worth it. It's super lightweight (even she can pick it up), wasn't bad to put together, and is made well. The video on the company's website is a pretty good watch, too.We have as much fun watching her as she has riding it.

2 year old loves it! Very well built, high quality materials. She got the hang of it after showing her a video of other kids riding their bikes. She's already lifting both feet off the ground. She's still figuring out how to use the breaks. She was a little short when she first got it back in May after she turned two so we had to buy her the lowering kit- easy to install (we'll be removing it pretty soon). So glad we started her on this type of bike. Also, will be ordering her bike gloves as her hands hurt after riding a long time- not too much padding on the handle bars..

The quality of build and design on this bike are fantastic. Bought the lowering kit for my 2-year-old girl to accompany this birthday gift, and the fit is nearly perfect. Her legs need another inch to grow, but that will happen fast.Easy to assemble since the rear was already put together.

We purchased this brand of bike for my son 2 years ago for his second birthday. I have to admit I was a little unsure when we first got it. It took a bit but my son cruises on his now. He chooses this bike over a pedal bike he got as a gift. We get so many comments from strangers that they are so impressed with how well a toddler does balancing on a bike. It’s also so well made. It’s a bike that will last forever. We didn’t even think about it and purchased this bike for our second child. Highly recommend.

I have never written a review but felt I should send one in this case. I have purchased 5 of the first bikes and give them all a 5 star. All the kids ages 2 - 4 have had a lot of fun and it doesn't take much time for them to get started. I needed a pink bike for a birthday and ordered the last pink one available from Amazon. When the bike was removed from the box it looked as if it were a used bike but no stickers had been applied so I felt it must be new. The tires were flat - no air at all. We aired tires and both had leaks. We replaced valve stems they are now holding air. The seat is sticky as if it were stored in very hot conditions. The seat has a little wear on edges but may be from poor packaging when shipped. It is to close to the birthday for a return or replacement. If the seat doesn't dry out I will contact First Bike direct to see if I can get seat replacement. Amazon and or First Bike evidently doesn't make inspections before shipping.

We were asked to buy this for our granddaughter for her first bike. I don't understand the concept. It supposedly helps them with balance. It makes no sense to me. You could balance a bike with wheels and then have a bike to ride when the balance part is mastered. It upsets me that were spent that much money on something so ridiculous. Live and learn.

This is easy to assemble. Impressed with the quality.Wish I had bought the adapter/extender for my 2 year 4 month old. She is about and inch too short.The bike is light weight and should be perfect once she has grown a few inches which should be in a month or so based on how much she eats!

Perfect for teaching kids how to ride a bicycle. Skip training wheel bikes when you buy a FirstBike. Check your child for sizing fit. And buy the lowering kit when needed. Seat is adjustable so you can get longer usage out of the bike.
