Say timing a childrens sporting event.** A: With the right angle you can read it with no problem. But the digital display is general not big or bright enough to be easily read. **Q: The illustration seems to show a Chinese character. Can the display show the date in U.S. style?** A: Yes. There is an English option in the menu. **Q: Can you change the strap on this watch?** A: Never done it but absolutely. Strap is the worst thing about this. You'll just need to measure the gap where the strap attaches to the watch to make sure that it will fit and off you go.
