Q: I understand the cord is 110v. Is the machine can work on 220v if i'll change the cable cord that fit to 220v?

There is a singer power cord for an EU 220V outlet. If you are unsure about how to wire this, I strongly recommend you hire an electrician.

I really haven’t been disappointed in my HD 6800C. It has some nice features that my other HD Singer machine didn’t have and it saves me lots of time…although I can’t seem to conquer the needle threader. Ugh! Love the needle position option, the thread cutter, and the ability to easily select the fancy stitches.

Q: Is this truly heavy duty like Sailrite?

No sailrite machines are heavier duty.
