No, this is NOT no clean. As an activated rosin, any residue must be removed. For a great no-clean flux we would suggest Kester 959T.

There is a small cone-shaped cap on the top of the black bottle cap. It unscrews. That is the fitting where the dispensing needle is screwed on! Please contact us at (859)317-2951 if you have questions.

Q: Suggestions on how to clean excess flux from components and board?

We agree with others- Isopropyl alcohol works well, that's the base solvent in this flux. And please note- its VERY IMPORTANT to remove the residue, since this is an activated flux. If not there may be corrosion issues. If you are not familiar with the applications for this product, we would suggest an RMA flux such as Kester 186 or no-clean flux such as Kester 959T.
