Petersen's Abominations: Tales of Sandy Petersen (Call of Cthulhu Roleplaying)

A collection of one shot adventures designed to be played at conventions. They are very concise and highly lethal. They can be adapted easily to ongoing campaigns but I do believe the biggest value here is in a single night of terror.

This collection of scenarios is simply awesome and span a range of topics. The production quality is top notch as are all things Chosium releases here lately. I cannot say enough about the quality Chosium is putting into their RPG line.

Just received this wonderful book.Unfortunately, I have searched for quite some time for modern CoC adventures. There are not a lot of published modern scenarios, so this book is a must have for this case! Sandy Petersen has outdone himself once again, by providing game masters with scenarios that have a large variety to encounter! From seemingly miracle-producing biomedical companies to a scenario where drilling to the bottom of the ocean goes...very wrong! This actually reminded me of a trilogy of episodes done by South Park (Mysterion rises etc).The quality of the book is by far extraordinary. One small complaint is that one page wasn't cut properly and the printer test colours were present at the extention of the page, but I simply cut it off.The artwork is amazing and the handouts, though not great in number have a very realistic feel.I honestly cannot wait to run some, if not all, of these scenarios for my rpg group in a few weeks!

Gran libro con 5 aventuras one-shot de la mano del propio Sandy Petersen. De momento he dirigido Derelict con gran éxito y me estoy preparando la de Panacea, que me parece genial!

Un ensemble de scénarios intéressants, éventuellement inégaux. Le prix reste abordable et l'intérêt réel.
