A great solo way to experience Call of Cthulhu 7th ed.Much more involved and detailed than I expected. The hour tracking mechanic is great and really ups the tension.

This story is a "race against the clock". The time mechanic definitely puts a sense of urgency on the play-through, but adds significant tedium. Spoiler: While there are many options on where you can take your player (many of which are just red herrings), there really is only one logical path that characters can take. I reduce my rating because of the limited nature of story options, and how extremely difficult success is in the game.Another factor for my reduced score is the many typos and redundant entries within the book.

this product has a misprint....just about every entry from 100-200 is missing. Don't buy this here. buy it on the chaosium website where you get the corrected print and a free PDF copy so you don't have to wait for the physical copy to ship to you. I made my mistake here so you don't have to...save yourself!

Fell apart in less then a week

7th ed for CoC has been a lot of fun. With the Pandemic going on this product has been a welcome addition to the game line. Lot of fun. Enjoy!

I had high hopes for this book. I can not recommend it at all. Considering that this is an update to a book that is over 30 years old I can't believe the errors it contains. The character Lydia Lau is referred as both her name and also as Nora even by her boyfriend. "Chapters" either do not link to the correct entry or are so disjointed that you will wonder if you are even at the right one. A store is listed as being open 25 hours a day. The character sheet is so blurry that it makes copying it feel like a waste and instead you should download one from the publishers website. The first 12 pages fell out after one use. This was not ready for release.

This is great if you want to play solo.The pages on my book fell out after a a short while - lost two stars.

Not of great quality with printing errors, it’s a shame because it was well written and I will be trying to find a copy with better printing.

Bad wirtten and with a lot of mistakes. You are directed to entries that don't belong to that storyline and make no sense, sending you back sometimes so you are trapped in a circle. Poor artwork and not entertaining. Sorry, only 1 star
