Saw a groomer on YouTube using this de-shedder on a cat. Worked so well I wanted to try it on my 16yo rescue kitty who doesn't like combing. Works so well I'm amazed! No pulling or irritation to his skin and it really gets the under-coat thinned out. Easy to use - well designed to fit the hand. Does not collect the fur like a brush/comb so be ready to gather it up by hand. Would absolutely recommend for cats.

I've had one of these for several years, and absolutely love it. It's lasted through multiple moves, lots of drops, and lots of brushings. It does a phenomenal job of brushing the hair off my cats (all domestic short hair breeds) it's very easy to use. I recently decided to get another one as we have more cats in the house now.I love that I don't have to spend time picking hair out of bristles. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with a short haired kitty cat

I'm honestly blown away with how well this brush works, and how quickly my cat has taken a liking to it vs other brushes and attempts made previously. He normally dislikes or is ambivalent towards brushes but after a couple of short sessions he has begun actively enjoying the "grooming" provided by this brush. The attached photo is just from a few minutes of brushing on his back alone.This is of course not a brush in the sense of detangling or other maintenance but as a purely shedding and fur health tool it goes far beyond my expectations and I will highly recommend to friends or family who need them. My cat Pros:It works, almost shockingly well. My cat has short to average fur and despite thinking that my brushing was clearing out old fur he seemed always to still have more to shed. Each time I used this brush however I could see it gently and comfortably drawing large amounts of old fur with it and the cat has come to enjoy the process greatly.Cons:Little pricey but worth every penny compared to every other brush I have used.

Made in USAClever use of a common blade you’ll recognize. Wooden handle. Good size for our dogs45 lb BC and 18 lb Maltese terrier. I’m not saying there’s false advertising because the dimensions are very plainly shown.However it is way smaller than Girl with the Dogs uses. Still decent size for our dogs, and made in USA!

This little brush gets off so much fur! Works great, even from our short-haired cats. Brushing our cats for a few minutes daily with this brush has eliminated hairballs, and the cats love it. But be warned that you will have fur flying when you brush your cat with it!

There are several different types of brushes/combs in a drawer that have done very little in grooming my cats over the years. One cat lives with me now, she’s a medium length tuxie who sheds a lot. When watching Girl With The Dogs grooming video, she was using one of these on a dog and the amount of undercoat she had removed really caught my attention. I found this same brand and decided to purchase the small one.My cat enjoys being groomed, except for her belly, so I knew that she’d like this, but I was wrong. She loves it! It works best using short strokes just like a cat would in cleaning herself. The amount of fluff that comes off is fantastic, and I know my cat sheds less now. Since she’s ingesting less loose fur during her own grooming, there have been no more hairballs being coughed up. I never realized how much of an undercoat she actually has.This groomer fits well in my hand, the grip is made of a smooth wood and it comes in many different colors, I chose purple. It’s very sturdy and it should hold up for a very long time. The only downside-side is that I have to use my hand or a different brush to actually remove the deshedded fur off my cat’s body because this doesn’t. It piles up in a very short amount of time and the fluff just lays there til taken off. This is a product that’s been used a lot, I highly recommend it.

Grooming my rabbits has always been a pain. I have Flemish and continentals (about 16-18 lbs) and they should be grooming themselves but they’re terrible at it. Couple that with molting at least 4x a year their coats are a mess and we end up having to even shave clumps out. I saw this brush on a reel of a dog groomer and I thought I’d try it. Wow! It really does what it says. It somehow grabs the undercoat and gently pulls it free. My rabbit’s have smooth medium to short length coats and this runs through easily. I no longer have to worry about the brush scraping their skin and it’s faster too. Highly recommend.

I don’t right reviews - ever. Although I was compelled to leave one for the Equigroomer because I have spend what feels like hundreds of dollars in brushes and de-groomers from so many different Merchants who “promised” one thing but never worked for my situation.One of my cats not only has extremely fine fur but he HATES being brushed. He immediately tries to run away and when you do encounter the rare times where he does allow it… ends up swatting at me soon enough. I have tried so many products that either didn’t work due to how fine his hair is or caused issues with his sensitive back/skin.THIS WORKS! Not only does it work but he loves it! This brush actually collects the fine hairs easily, doesn’t cause discomfort, and to him even thinks it’s a toy trying to gnaw and rub his face all over it.I can’t tell you how thankful I am to have something that actually works. If you are struggling with cats/dogs with fine hair then this is the solution for you. My only recommendation is to brush them outside or on the patio/balcony (cat) if possible. The hair doesn’t collect on the brush itself but instead leaves it where you end your brush strokes so I learned right away to move it to the balcony before the entire house was covered in hair (it worked that well)Several other brushes lasted 2 minutes before he had enough but with this one I can keep going/going. The design seems so simple but the results speak for themselves. I should have gotten this years ago. THANK YOU!
