This printer is great if you do your research and understand what you are getting.
I purchased this printer mainly as a challenge. I did my research, knew the flaws, knew the weakness, and understood the possibilities. Out of the box, this is not a great printer and will not get you similar prints as a Prusa MK3. This is a printer that is built on a flimsy acrylic base, has a warped stage, and requires extensive assembly and tuning. However, there are a lot of internet resources that will assist you in tuning this printer up to make great quality prints. For a sub $200 (including upgrades), you will be able to get great prints with some effort.A couple of notes about the copy of the printer that I received:1. All contents were included and acceptable quality. There are other internet reviews that bring this into question, but mine delivery of this printer was great.2. My printer had several updates from previous versions of this printer. The most notable improvements are: (a) the heating element to the bed has doubled up the wires. There are two wires going to the bed for the positive terminal, and two for the negative. This alleviates much of the safety concern for the connector to the heated bed that has been known to overhead and melt the connector. (b) The connector blocks on the control board for the heater and the hot end are upgraded from previous iterations to an acceptable connector for the current required. I still intend to install a FET though to keep the control board running cooler.3. The instructions are on the SD card that comes already inserted in a usb card reader. This was not immediately obvious. On another note, immediately update the firmware to Marlin to enable thermal runaway protection. All in all, I'm very happy with this printer for the reasons that I purchased it. If you want a turn-key printer, don't buy it.

Terrible, DONT buy.
Everything was wrong. 2 small screws were missing. When we assembled, we tried to plug it in and it had a blue electrical shock and made a strange noise. DONT BUY! If you plugged it in again, it would probably explode. Returning... Please, do not buy for your saftey. Buy a Monoprice, Ender3d, just DONT buy this. Who cares about the cheap price? Comes in COMPLETELY non assembled. The only things that were assembled was the mother board and screen. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The printer itself is cheap, and wont print A-NY-THING. I was so excited for this printer, and turned out to be a total bummer. Again, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Thank you.-Tsblessed

Great "CHEAP" 3D Printer
I got this printer and had never printed anything in 3D before. I am a retired electronic mechanic living in South Korea so I had to have it shipped here which was super fast from the US. The price was better than I could get here from China. The kit is straight forward and easy to assemble. Many videos are online to see how to assemble it. I chose to take the paper off my frame as the joints fit better than leaving it on and I like the black look. The printer prints fine for what I'm using it for and only wish the bed could go to 120C as ABS plastic has to have, but PLA prints fantastic. I ordered ABS filament and you just cannot print it on this printer as stock assembled. Will be getting a better bed as I want to print with ABS. I have added a larger power supply 30A, but that is because I plan to upgrade the bed and have power module expansion boards also. Measure and remeasure everything and tight belts are very important. Great deal at about $140.00.

Alright adult beginner printer, but do your homework.
I’m giving the printer a 4 because I haven’t had the issues others have experienced with shorts or runaway temps, but I also planned ahead and was ready with upgrades as I built it. First I updated the firmware to Marlin to fix any firmware temp safety issues. Second I installed mosfet for both the hot end and heated bed. I’m only running pla right now, and only when I can keep an eye on it but I will upgrade the power supply if I ever decide to run ABS as it requires higher temps. It’s a good DIY kit if you are looking to start out and learn how printers are built and work, but if you are looking for something that works out of the box, there are others available with a slightly higher price point after factoring in required safety upgrades. Including purchase price, Ive put a little over $200 into my Anet. There are also quite a few quality of life prints found out there to make it easier to align/level this model. (Z axis switch, I’m talking to you)

It works, very noisy, some design flaws
Assembly took a long time but everything ended up well. It's a bit noisy but maybe some lube on the rods may help. Can not get it to connect to my PC with the USB. It can't even be found by the PC so having to go back and forth with a card is a bit annoying but at least that works. Can't get the software that came with it to connect either. Lube didn't help the noise, it's kinda bad. Now the screen has messed up pixels!EDIT: HUGE DESIGN FLAW, THE FILAMENT IS ABLE TO GO OUTSIDE OF THE EXTRUDER WHEN LOADING IT! IT CAN COME UP FROM THE FRONT OR BACK. THIS SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ALLOWED.EDIT: TODAY IT JUST STOPPED WORKING, JUST HAPPENS TO BE THE LAST DAY THAT I CAN RETURN IT! TURNED IT ON, SELECTED FILES AND TOLD IT TO PRINT, AND IT JUST SAT THERE-FOR OVER AN HOUR, NOT A LARGE FILE. SO I WAS LIKE OK STOPPED THE PRINT, UNPLUGGED IT AND PLUGGED BACK IN AND ALL I GOT WAS THE WELCOME TO OMNI SCREEN AND NOTHING ELSE WORKED! NO MENU NOTHING. SO BACK IT GOES!

Needs immediate electrical/safety upgrades. Not recommended for a beginner. Buy an Ender3
This is definitely not for the average person to build at home. I like the challenge of the build but there are so many variables that come in to play when you consider the acrylic frame and the hardware that connects it together. There are also the electrical/safety issues which you will need to address. Plenty of videos on line. It is better than 2 stars if you know what you are buying and expect issues. If you are not a "mechanically inclined " person with patience, pass on this kit. Go with an Ender3 or whatever you can afford.

Good for beginners
It’s pretty good for beginners and easy to use, the only problem I’ve had for it was that two of the screws were missing.

Quality is not there
I tried to use it for 12 hrs and it started to burn so I have requested my money back. And it's taking almost a month to get my money so I can not buy another.
