Real Vitamin C
Mad Hippie's Vitamin C is legit and not fake like some other vitamin C serums. This has massively improved dark spots & red spots for me. I've been using it for 5 years now and have 0 complaints.I do one night of tret, one night of an AHA peel, and one night of vitamin C to achieve glass skin. I've tried other vitamin C serums, but I always come back to this one. The derm NP I see says this is her favorite too because it's a legitimate vitamin C serum.

MadHippie Vitamin C Serum
I cannot say enough great things about this product! I absolutely love the Vitamin C Serum from MadHippie. It brightens your skin, smooths it and gives you a glow! They use clean ingredients which is very important to me and the quality is amazing. A little bit goes a long way. I use about 3-4 drops, rub it in my hands and put it on my face and neck until the stickiness goes away, meaning it is dried. I like to think I have combination skin and it does not make me feel oily at all. Makes me feel amazing once my skincare is done! 10/10 would recommend!

Depends On Your Needs
I waited until I finished the whole bottle (1 oz) which I purchased on March 21, 2018 before processing this review. I've read most of the completed reviews and without bias these are my thoughts. My initial intent for this purchase was to diminish or completely remove a liver spot on my cheekbone. I am a health advocate and do not have any noticeable skin issues. So in fairness to this product there wasnt much room to impress me other than my liver spot. With that said, I will say that my face developed a welcoming 'glow' to it, no real shrinkage in facial pore size however. Unfortunately, it produced zero results regarding my liver spot. I took close up pics of before and after. I have read many reviews up here of buyers absolutely raving about this product. I personally don't see it that way. It's a good product I suppose, but nothing a little mixture of onion juice and apple cider vinegar can't duplicate. I would have given this product a 2 or 3 star rating but I didn't want to attack the full range of possibilities this serum may be able to do for other buyers with different goals than I had. Liver spots are tough. So, in fairness, although this product serves me no ultimate use, I gave it 4 stars. After reading all the positive reviews I actually thought I received an aged or oxidized bottle of this serum. As my results were not anywhere near that of the ravers. I hope this review can aid in your decision for purchase. It's not cheap. Good luck!

Wow, IT WORKS!!!
This is my second bottle of this. I bought the first at Whole Foods, on an impulse. Heard it was a good one, and wanted to try it, because I’d been disappointed in other, cheaper Vit C serums in the past. My skin is clear and in good shape, though I spent a lot of time in the sun when I was younger. I don’t reallyhave any deep wrinkles...it’s just that when you get past your 30’s, you lose that youthful glow....and I have some very fine lines...so, I usually am using at least one exfoliating anti aging product. While using this, I used it alone, because I wanted to see if it really made a difference. After washing my face, I’d apply this serum, a little eye cream, and then if it was morning, my makeup. I used the entire bottle, down to the last drop, so I feel I can give an honest review. One, it works, and quickly. Within a week or so, I saw a smoother texture to my skin. By the end of the bottle, my skin definitely looked smoother, brighter, and 3 darker spots on my face (sun damage) were at least 80% lighter. I have one on my right cheek and two on my jawline, that I would cover with concealer. Amazingly, they are almost gone. Two, it’s pleasant and easy to use. Not really luxurious, and has no scent, but who cares if it works? The serum has an almost watery texture, and sinks in fast. A few drops go a long way. I spread it over my face, neck and chest after cleansing at night, and sometimes - though not always - applied in the AM as well. Three, I had no breakouts or irritation from this product. I applied it everywhere, including my upper eyelids...but I don’t recommend that, especially if you have sensitive skin.I bought my second bottle from Amazon, I think it was the same price, but I see right now that it’s priced at several dollars less. Will definitely keep using this, and maybe even try more products from this company. Highly recommended.Edited to add: due to my positive experience with this product, I decided to go with the company’s recommendation to use the stronger Vitamin A serum at night and use the Vitamin C in the AM. I know there are some negative reviews here, and wish people would describe their skin condition before leaving reviews. Possibly if one has really deep wrinkles or extensive aging or sun damage, the effects of these products are going to be minimal, or take a lot longer to show results.

Love it
I don’t have any experience with vitamin c serums, but I wanted to try one to help get rid of some age spots I started getting. I researched for hours for the best affordable vitamin c serum that doesn’t have other possible toxic ingredients added such as phenoxyethanol and found this one! It’s more expensive than I really wanted to spend on a serum but still cheaper than many other high end ones. It’s only been less than a week since I started using it, but I already noticed my age spots lightening up! It also makes my face feel very hydrated all day and plump. Overall my face also looks brighter and it feels so gentle I haven’t experienced any sensitivity to this product at all. I even use it under my eyes and I feel like it’s helped brighten my dark circles a bit. After trying this serum, I don’t think I can live without something like this now in my skincare routine and I plan to keep purchasing when it runs out. I’ve tried other serums before (not vitamin c) that were harder to apply but the texture of this one was easy to spread across my face even with only 2 drops. Seeing as to how I already see improvements after less than a weeks use, I definitely recommend it. I didn’t have high expectations but I love the improvements I’ve noticed so far
