The base will mate. **Q: Whats the wattage?** A: These bulbs are 55 watts. I am driving a 2011 Mazda CX7, and they have the worse dim lights I've ever seen on a car. A 2 cell flashlight would give out more light than the stock bulbs. These bulbs give me approximately 3 times more light than the stock L-7 dim lamps, a marked improvement! I highly recommend them. Let me just add, I drive all my dim lights on, even in the daytime in order to be seen better in today's traffic, and by driving with dim lights on anytime the motor is running, the life span of the lamps for me is about 12 months. Glad I switched, and if your dim lamps are not illuminating the roadway enough to drive safely when meeting approach cars or driving closely behind a car at night, you won't go wrong with these lamp bulbs. I hope this helps you. They were a good investment for me even though their lifespan is only about 12 months the way I use them. If you don't drive with your lights on during the day time, obviously they will last longer. **Q: Will this fit a jeep patriot?** A: I don't know if it will fit a Jeep Patriot. It is a H7 lamp. If your Jeep uses an H7 lamp (check your manual or pull a lamp and check the lamp number) then it will replace it, if your Jeep Patriot does not use an H7 lamp, it will not work.
