Now here's a handy item. Though the quality of this sealer does not appear to be on the top tier, it's practical function certainly is. Used it in two different sessions and so far it performed on the top tier. I particularly like the simplicity of it's sealing capacity and being able adjust the size bag I need accordingly. I plan to keep it and expand it's function.

Easy to work. Have not used the vacuum adjustments yet. Press the selections you want and machine does the rest. Shuts it gf automatically when selection is completed. Great buy!

This is a minor inconvenience but worth noting.Final Thoughts:I have no idea why I waited so long to purchase this! It’s an awesome, must-have kitchen unit for anyone who cooks a lot or wants to maximize freezer space. Highly recommended!

This has a weak vacuum pump that doesn't provide the best air removal. The sealing element is far too narrow/thin to provide a confident seal. DOES NOT SEAL THICKER MYLAR BAGS!!! Even after attempting to seal 10 mill thick mylar bags 4 times back to back in the same exact spot, this never would completely seal even one bag. Lastly, if you're trying to use zipper seal bags, the vacuum portion of this product sits too far from the sealing element causing you to seal BELOW the plastic zipper of the releasable bag. Personally, I do not recommend this product for anyone not wanting a headache.

The machine is easy to use and it does a good job.

Use it all the time instead of expensive storage bags and believe it is a good value. We bought the quart and gallon width rolls. It's a little awkward because the roll doesn't fit, so we have to cut the length, then hope we estimated right. I like that we can write on the top edge after sealing.
