In short, this peel off mask gives my skin a nice glassy appearance at least for a while if I use it semi-regularly. The formula leans hydrating, barrier-repairing, and brightening, with lightweight actives. Ingredients are minimalist and gentle—a solid pick to moisturize and fortify the skin overnight. More details follow.I tried this mask simply because I wanted to try a leave-on (overnight) mask that actually dries and doesn’t leave a mess on my pillow cases. My product came packaged in a pink SauVasine-branded box about 1.6 x 1.6 x 5.8 inches. Inside the box was a pink tube of product just shorter than the box and 2 inches wide at the base. Also included was a white spatula of similar length. The packaging and presentation look pretty mid, neither premium nor generic.The mask ingredients as listed on the box are listed in full at the end of my review*. My understanding of some of the ingredients is as follows. The water-based formula uses PVA as a binder to form a film on the skin nad enables peeling. Other ingredients (hyaluronic acid, glycol, glycerin) hydrate the skin. Finally, a verity of ingredients (niacinamide, tocopherol [vitamin E], ceramide NP, collagen) are to brighten and strengthen the skin.Instructions on the box and the jar are to apply an appropriate amount to the face avoiding the eyes; leave on for 10 to 15 minutes until dried/ absorbed then peel off. The Amazon page instructions are a bit different in that it instructs to apply to a cleaned and toned face, to leave it on overnight before gently peeling it off or rinsing with lukewarm water. The Amazon page also notes to avoid eyebrows, hairline, eyes and lips. I used the mask per the Amazon instructions.Out of the tube and onto my face the formula has a honey-like consistency almost like a hair wax. The mask is clear and colorless. I used the included spatula to spread it onto my face. The formula feels cool and a bit smothering going on. I wasn’t great at keeping a consistent thickness across my face, but I thought this product was easier to control than others I have tried. The formula would drip initially so I laid on my back for at least 10 minutes until it dried and I was falling asleep anyways.Overnight the mask tightened, especially on areas when it dripped into my hair. The feeling on my face was a bit confining and uncomfortable but if I stretched my face by opening my jaw or moving my cheeks, the mask would release somewhat. I did decide however, it was less than ideal comfortable so very early in the morning, I removed the mask. Most of it peeled off easily, though I did have some drips caught in my eyebrows or hair. In those cases, I couldn’t peel the mask without ripping out hair, so I simply rinsed off the formula. I dissolved or softened easily in warn water and I could remove it from my hair without further issue.Upon rinsing off the mask, I noticed a mild brightening effect and a pronounced smoothing or glass-skin effect. Both effects were temporary—lasting a few hours—though the effect did extend with repeated use during a week. I also found that the mask didn’t mess my pillowcases like wash-off masks do. I did have a couple of small drips but those were easily dissolved/ cleaned with soap and water.Overall, I am happy with and surprised by this product. I think the mask works as well as product costing significantly more, the ingredients are simple and good, and it is not as messy as wash off masks. Given the price, this certainly could be a regular part of a face-care routine and not just an occasional indulgence.*Ingredients: Aqua, Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA), Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Tocopherol, Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramide NP, Collagen, Phenoxyethanol.

This is a squeeze and spread application mask rather than a presoaked paper or gel mask. This fits into all areas of your face exactly. It does need to dry so be ready to lay down for about 15 minutes for it to dry or it'll run a little. After it completely dries, you peel it off and there's no residual left. There may be some leftovers if you had gotten them into your eyebrow or hair. My face does feel more moisturized within 3 nights.

This is really amazing. I got it few days now n my skin is looking fabulous. I’m in love.
