Excellent quality and workmanship
Excellent quality and workmanship. The size is true and the feel is comfortable. I have worn these shoes twice since I got them and each time it was for the full working day and I was comfortable. Strongly recommended.

Do Not Buy Inferior Leather
Rotten - made in India. Inferior leather and the stitching is bad. The grain on the leather was the first giveaway that these were not made in North America. The grain looks cheap and the price is outrageous and they go back to Amazon

The quality was eh. Allen Edmonds has been lacking in their quality control the last several years, so I ordered 2 pairs (on sale for ~$120 each). One came in with scuffs and markings on it, the other looked fine. I hadn’t read the description carefully because these are made in India, not USA. Overall the shoes felt way lighter than my other Allen Edmond shoes and the sole is a good bit thinner. Didn't even try them on and just decided to return them and find better shoes. Not relevant in my case but Allen Edmonds stores don’t price match Amazon prices, presumably due to the fact the Amazon shoes aren’t made in the USA.

Not Worth $150 let alone $400
Allen Edmonds has severely gone downhill and has been destroyed by private equity. The leather uppers used are grain corrected meaning a fake varnish/lacquer finish has been applied which makes these crap and lowers the ability to care them. Might as well just get pleather. Certainly not worth the $425 they charge for them and not even the $167 I got them on sale for. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere. AE is not just a mass produced department store brand.

Runs too big
Returned because the size ran too large compared to what I normally wear. Wore it for only 3 hours but had blisters on my heels and material doesn’t seem to be of high quality that you’d expect.

Very misleading information provided in Amazon. Very disappointing. Besides, these don't have the good quality I expect from Allen Edmond.

Not sure if it's my luck or what. First the box way some generic box, second the shoes looked okay, but I was able to add a bit more to get pair from Carmina on sale. Also not sure what's the deal with the size, it was extremely small for 44 size
