Replacing a Bristan where it failed after 10+ years. Works great.

This is a quality piece of kit have used Bristan taps in several houses that we have done up had no issues. would recommend

Incorrect dimensions. Must be good but its ginormous.

Bought both 1/2" and 3/4" revitalised our bathroom. Quality product.

If a tap could be 'gorgeous' - this one is! Super quality

Absolute rubbish. I moved in to a house with the whole bathroom using this quadrato range on sink, bath and shower. This basin tap is noisy in operation and ergonomically unpleasant in use with sharp corners. It eventually failed on me and I was glad to replace it with a basic Grohe unit which was far better engineered.

Bristan Quadrato mixer tap installed by plumber in new installation. Tap was very stiff to use. Eventually failed after 7 months. Plumber service engineer reports that many Bristan products now sourced in China resulting in very poor quality and reliability. My advice: Bristan may be cheaper than the leading brands but are very expensive to own, avoid.

We have 3 of these in our house, they are approximately 2.5 years old and fitted by the developer who renovated the house before we bought it, we don't have any paperwork for them. They have all become incredibly stiff, I rang Bristan and the customer services representative told me to take them apart and soak the components. I could maybe understand if one tap was a problem but all 3?To be honest if I have to shut off the water and take all the taps apart then I might as well replace them with something that isn't going to fail to work properly in future, they won't be replaced with Bristan taps though.
