Shipping was quick and arrived in good shape. Item is made well and is not plastic and does what it needs to do supply to one or both directions. I know it initial was designed for use supplying air to an aquarium / aquariums. In my case I used it for my Hydroponic DWC (Deep water Culture) supplying air (oxygen) to my lettuce plants

Did exactly what I needed. The black rubber nub can go on either side of the metal air intake, so it sits nicely whichever side of the tank your stuff is on. The valves do a good job limiting and/or blocking air however you choose to adjust them. They both would completely shut off the air without leaking if I chose. And I haven't tested the water backflow valves, but they seem to effectively allow air to go one direction but not the other. The connector ends are the right size for a super tight fit around my standard airline tubing. It was actually really hard to shove them on, since the tubing I have is really stiff, but they all worked!

Didn't try the suction cups but it does what I paid for at a low price. Just wish it came with directions, i used the amazon pictures to see where and how the pieces go in. Kind of tight going into the tubing and couldn't get it in the tubing all the way. It is a little tight to turn the knobs as I need them to only push a small amount of air as I am using it in my sea monkey ocean tank. Now I don't have to manually aerate so I'm happy about that

I needed a splitter and I was glad I chose this one because in the fish world if you buy one fish within a day or two you’re gonna be buying more and wait a week or so you will have a tank! Needless to say I went a month and now I have two tanks. Heaven help me if I see something really cool. I might end up with three. I really enjoy this. They’re so easy to operate even if you’re older, you know and have arthritis in your hands which I do have it’s fantastic. Great value for the money. The airflow is awesome. The size is nice and compact and noise level. You can’t even hear you just hear the bubbles.. product rating A+++

A bit overpriced, that said it works as intended, a month later it’s still working perfectly, no leakage, it makes no extra noise and it looks good.

Based on my experience (and opinion) The check valve part works well on soft hose but not on the the standard hard hose. The only thing that I can think of to ensure a solid fit with the hard hose may be to sand the tip down a bit or try to stretch out the hard hose. Does anyone else have any ideas? The metal gang value was solid. I liked it and it looks as if it may last a long time. So, overall I gave it three stars due to the check valve design (materials issue). I just got the hardware. So, I will revisit my review if conditions change on the gang valve.

I got this mainly for the splitter. The other parts were just a bonus, so I won't focus on those. The air flow control works great. I split this off so that one tube is running my sponge filter, and the other is running an air stone. I am able to fine tune the air flow to both of them to get optimal pressure from the single air pump. The suction cups that come with it work well, and have not come loose in the few days I have had this, keeping my air lines securely in place.
