Cathay bibs
These bibs are great, really comfortable, and fit well. However, I do have one complete, the pockets front and back are not nearly deep enough or big enough for man size hands. Stuff that I put in my pockets. I have to be careful with because if I’m sitting down in a car or on a couch or a chair, stuffy has a tendency to fall out of my pockets.

Best Carharrts
This is the best carrhartts you can buy. I’ve tried all the others and settled on this one. The rugged flex 2% spandex makes this stretchy and very comfortable, you will love them. But still tough, rugged, great pockets, good top pocket fits iPhone. Wore the grey color for three months, so I bought the khaki too. I am 5’10” 175 lbs athletic build, and W34 x 32L works best. W32 works ok with no pants underneath, but W34 more comfortable.

Best bibs ever. I live in these.
They are comfortable right out of the box. They are not super wide like other brands and have a softer feel but are still think and feel like they will handle rugged use.I work outside and they keep me warm and moving.Zero complaints.I am a 6’1” 170 with a 32 waist so I ordered 34/32 for a little extra room. (They for perfect)If I put the strap as long they can go they will look a little baggy. If I pull it up a little they fit right at my boots. (So there is room in both directions)Lots of pockets. Zipper touch in front is great. Carhartt. Please sponsor me and give me all of the bibs. Thank you.

Surprisingly comfortable.
They fit much better than expected. They stretch to the extent that I’m able to move without any restriction which I’m not used to with work wear. There’s a soft “padding” on the underside of the shoulder straps that some people have complained about… it has nothing to do with the straps integrity, and you can just snip the strays off ;)

Really comfortable fabric right out of the box, excellent cut and construction.
I've been wearing Dickies overalls for years but the bib never really fit right (straps frequently slid off my shoulders) and the canvas suddenly got a lot lighter so I compared them to the Hisea and the Carhartt's. First off, the canvas on the Hisea's is really heavy and stiff. If you're doing really rough work, this might be a good thing, but I wear overalls all day, every day, and for me, the fabric just wasn't that comfortable. The cut of the Hisea's is kind of boxy and it suffers from the same wide bib as the Dickie's. I don't know how broad your chest would have to be to fill out the bib but I'm a fairly big guy (6'1", 215lbs) and it just kind of floats. Third, the straps are narrower than the Dickie's or the Carhartts. They might cut into your shoulders at the end of a long day. And finally, the clips feel like cheap stamped parts. They might stand up just fine, but I'm not keeping them long enough to find out. After comparing all three brands, the Carhartts were my favorite. The canvas feels great and the cut is just more detailed than the other two. Lots of different pieces, darts all over the place, re-enforced cuffs - it just fits well. The Carhartts are more expensive than the Dickies and twice as expensive as the Hisea, but for me, it's worth it.

Super comfortable compared to duck bib
The fabric is soft and comfortable with just a little stretch making them feel like they ere broken in already. The gray color is very stylish and easy to match with. Well worth the money considering how practical and durable they are.

Good fit and quality
Overalls are find to find in a good fit for me. They all seem to have huge, baggy legs and yet, are super tight in the midsection. These are a perfect fit and great quality. I love them! I'm 6'1" 200 pounds with a little belly.

X1 SIZE UP vs X2 SIZES UP
ok this review is for all the good ole boys with beer guts, love handles or corn fed. if you're slim/skinny or fit stop reading here.alright men... im 6'-1" 220lbs and wear 36W x 32L in jeans. my beer gut measures 40" round! i put a tape measure around the widest part of my gut to get bib size... or ballpark.havent worn bibs in ~40yrs, but im back now... just gettin old, fat and belts aint workin no more!ive been wearing my Bernies (duck) and Red Kaps (denim) for bout a month now... really like em!i live down south, so ill be wearing bibs fall, winter and early spring.after reading 100's of reviews, here's my take on sizing for carhartt flex bibs (w/pics).X1 size up is the 38W x 32L khaki, washed in warm and hung dry. im wearing a heavy carhartt T-shirt in this pic. the fit is perfect! good all around movement, can get both thumbs between my gut and bibs. ill be wearing the bibs as casual wear with T-shirt or long sleeves.X2 sizes up is the gray 40W x 32L, washed and dried in the dryer. BIBS DID SHRINK, very little in waist and bout ~1/4-1/2" in length. biggest difference in fit is obviously in the waist. in the pic i'm wearing a heavy sweatshirt and long johns. bibs fit great! plenty of movement without feeling like a mummy! ill be wearing the bibs when temps get below 32* doing outside work.so i hope the pics give a good comparison on X1 vs X2 sizes up. carhartt's always run a little big on me vs other brands. i cant imagine wearing my jean size in this bib with my beer gut!im retired now, so i wont commit on durability, but in my 38yrs of construction, there was not a brand of work clothing i didn't rip, tear, cut, brun or whatever... thats why i called them "my work clothes!" workin 12hrs 7 days a week... give me a good pair of work boots and something comfortable to wear, and these bibs are COMFORTABLE!!!

Attention to deal
Love the fit. In a hot environment, these are da' choice. My only complaint, because of tbe name and price, inside the pockets have a lot of leftbover in fold , whatever. Biggest issue with that is, how much of of a pain is it to search for items in pockets. My back pockets have at least an inch of infold garbage. Poor QC, considering the price you pay.But I'm a repeat buyer for sure...m??

Great for those summer evenings.
My Hubby loves these as they're not as thick as the duck styles. Pretty flexible as well. Great quality.

Sizing Info.
The reviews for sizing are all over the place. Hopefully my review will help someone out and save a return / exchange. My measurements: I am 6' tall, 235 lbs muscular frame. My normal jeans size vary between 32"-34" waist and 32"-34" inseam depending on the brand. I ordered three sizes of Carhartt Mens Rugged Flex Rigby Bib Overalls in Gravel colorway and tried all three on with underwear and T-shirt only. The 34W x 32L fit me alright, a bit tight though, especially when the top two side buttons were done up, no extra room for longjohns or layering and a bit restrictive for movement. Length was good. 34W x 34L, same as above, legs are too long for me. My ideal size ended up being 36W x 32L which I found a bit surprising. I normally don't wear 36" waist jeans or 32" inseams, usually 34". 36W x 32L fit great with a nice snug, but comfortable fit with room for longjohns and plenty of flexibility for movement. The quality seems great. The brass / metal hardware is easy to use and looks durable. The fabric, as others have pointed out is much softer than standard canvas, with 1% elastane for the perfect amount of stretch. The front of the legs have an extra panel sewn on top for twice the thickness and durability. The pockets and storage are fantastic for many uses. I could see these lasting a long time and getting better with age if handled properly. I'll buy four pairs in 36W x 32L at $114 CAD which is the current price. Great buy on a high value, practical item.
