Good product but not very pliable when cured
This is a high quality product that is easy to use and works as advertised. Adhesion to the surrounding asphalt is very good, and the product is strong. It is viscous and will not easily flow into the smallest cracks, but is good for anything 1/8" (3mm) or larger. The color appears off at first but changes as it hardens. When dry, it has a dark sandpaper-like texture that blends well with the surrounding asphalt and provides very good grip. One thing to be aware of is that this product has a limited amount of flex when cured and may be less flexible than the surrounding asphalt, particularly in locations where the asphalt coating is thin or perhaps not as well compacted as it should be. This can be problematic since fixing the crack still doesn't fix the tendency for the ground to flex that led to the cracks in the first place. We observed that many of the cracks we repaired soon developed new parallel cracks immediately outside of the repaired area: the product was essentially stronger than our asphalt, but the asphalt just failed in an adjacent location. I don't fault the product since its high strength and rigidity may have been a deliberate design goal, but for our particular situation we are going to look for a more pliable patch product to fix the new cracks that have developed.EDIT: After using another product, I appreciate its positive qualities more and have raised the star rating from four stars to five. It's a great product as long as you understand it's pretty rigid when fully cured. Highly recommended.

Easy to use
Applies easy fills cracks evenly and after drying it gets darker. Much better than what i have been buying from Home Depot for years, plus it has more volume. They fill it all the way up ..

First Product That Worked.
I have tried many crack fillers and this is the first one that worked for me. I like the way this comes out. It is thick and can really set up well in bigger cracks. Also, my driveway is built up on the sides and this is where a lot of cracks happen. Everything I have tried in the past is liquidy and just runs out of the crack. This stuff is gooey enough to stay in place, even on the built up, vertical edges of my driveway. Also, unlike other stuff I have bought, it dries black, not brown. And it dries nice and hard, which makes me think it will last longer than compounds that dry more rubbery. I have a very long driveway and I had a lot of cracks, but one jug almost filled everything. For the first time in years, my driveway looks like one solid black surface, as I also sealed it. I hope they keep making this. I bought an extra jug just to hold in stock at my house in case I can't find it in the future. Highly recommend.

Sakrete black top crack filler
It's good. I'd use it again. However, imo, I feel it is overpriced. So, as that goes, got the Gallon which I was not sure I'd need, but did. However, another quart would have been nice to fine tune after a few days. But, for $25, can't justify being that "OCD" about it. And to get a quart at that price or a calk tube, -- my gosh, it's an asphault sealer, no food grade counter use stuff. So, for the price, -- that's my issue.Oh, and for the cost of it, have a utility knife handy to slice the jug and spatula out what will not otherwise pour out. I that regard, make the container one of those "bags" so can "tooth paste" tube it. Makes it easy to mix as well if needed.

Just works after years of struggling with less products.
The road in front of my house is asphalt and my drive way is concrete. The road is in poor condition and up the street a 10" water main broke and sent huge amounts of water the asphalt over time has shrunk away from my concrete so the water under cut the edge of the concrete. First put in 150lbs of asphalt filler then sealed with the crack filler. The driveway is 60' wide so it took 2 gals. Application is easy and it drys fast so was able to drive on it in one day. Goes on easy and fills even larger cracks just great stuff that really does the job.

Good quality product.
I cleaned the crack across my driveway then after shaking this product to mix well it flowed easily into crack and filled almost up to top. Applied on a warm sunny day. Dried within a reasonable timeframe and did not shrink. Been through a few rains and hot days and no shrinkage so far. A reliable product for around 2 months now.

Decent at sealing, not very easy to apply
Product works fine and as it suggests, is best for cracks of no more than 1/4". It is far too viscous for anything larger than that and takes days to harden, if it ever does. I found it difficult to apply. Cutting a hole in the end was easy enough, but then I had to squeeze the jug holding it upside down to apply. Lots of effort on the hands and forearms to get this done if you have a lot of cracks to fill. Seems to be holding up well so far. Will need another solution for the larger cracks (where the asphalt meets the curb in front of our house).

Very good but bottle design could improve
It’s got sand in it and stays put when you fill splits in asphalt. Way better than other products I’ve tried. Use a putty knife to smooth out. Dries quickly. Wish the bottle design had a handle more towards the bottom as holding and pouring over a long period would be much easier - why I gave it 4 stars. Bottle design is meant for a quick pour not for slowly dribbling thick medium into asphalt splits.
