Instapure F5 Complete Tap Water Filtration System (Chrome with Chrome Cap)

We had a Brita. The lever became harder to work. I checked online and found this to be a issue with other owners. This InstaPure has been an excellent replacement. Great tasting water and the filters are cheaper and last longer than the Brita. And the lever is easy to rotate.

This is my second one of these. We really liked the first one and this is of equal value. I am sure this will be the only brand I buy from now on.

It works very good. It leaked a little at first. Saves a ton of money over bottled.

I checked my water TDS reading before setting up this filter and checked it after my water was run through the filter and the TDS level was same(393) or higher, water filter did not work at all. I was very disappointed that it did not lower my TDS or make the water taste better. TDS should be 15 or lower. The FILTER is not sealed in a bag, there is only a removable cap which would not stop anyone from using the filter before I received it. I'm only giving this 3 stars because the product was easy to setup. I did RETURN for a refund.

I have excess calcium in my city water. Although I was assured that it is safe to drink, it tastes awful. It also leaves white film that turns crusty on my fixtures and appliances. I tried using the Britta pitcher but I could still taste the chemicals that are used to clean the water. The Instapure leaves no residue or aftertaste. It works great. My only problem is that the filtered water comes out in a thin stream but the regular tap pours out quickly and thicker. I don't know if it's the plumbing or the Instapure that is doing this. I am a patient woman, however, and I don't mind waiting for a couple of minutes to fill my coffee pot in the morning.

Been using this filter system for 30 years...each unit will last several years. Does a fantastic job of purifying the tap water, removing bad tastes. I use it for all drinking water, cooking water. Best value on the market, filters last me about 4 months.

It leaked all over and I have returned it. The last one leaked too. Now I am stuck with 4 replacement filters. I bought a Pur filter and it is a dream.

I have been using InstaPure faucet mounted water filters for over 40 years. The mechanism breaks down and I buy a new one. The last one I had lasted about 10 years. I am very satisfied with the quality of filtered water it produces.

Yes this is the unit I wanted, it's installed and providing pure drinking water. The best part is that I didn't have to shop store after store to find one. Delivered to my door on time, at a great price. Paul
