Using bathroom scale the weight for two shoes is 1 pound exactly. Scale dloesnt weigh finer than 1 pound. I suspect the two would be a little higher

Yes. Only thing to keep in mind is that water will drain well, but pebbles will have a hard time working their way out without taking the shoe off. But I use these in and out of the water and love them.

Q: If keen had a shoe like these semi sandal closed toe, which one would be best for light outdoor gardening, digging, light construction?

i wear the shoes pictured here to do all of our gardening and yard work they are perfect. When you're done just hose them and your feet off

I bought these for my husband in an 8.5, which he says is a good fit, though a tad roomy. He usually wears a 9.5 in a tennis shoe. He did not notice any difference in the width.
