These filters are GREAT for use in pet fountains. I use the filter first dual sided filter, the 100mcg polishing cloth, and the carbon filter in my fountains, cut to fit then simply wrap around the pump. The carbon filters that come in the pet fountains are incomparable to these filters. I have 3 boxers that drink out of a 1 gallon fountain, so there is alot of slobber, food particles, grass, hair... I used to have to clean that fountain everyday and it is no easy task. I only have to clean their fountain once a week now, and I could honestly go longer if I wanted to. One of my dogs is very picky about his water quality, one drop of slobber and he'd turn his nose up and walk away. With these filters, he doesn't hesitate at all anymore. My bearded dragon is also very picky about his water quality. He loves his fountain now. I did buy a slightly bigger pump for my fountain before I switched to these filters, the three layers slow the flow a bit, so I'm not sure if it'd be too much resistance for the pump that came with the fountain. It works very well with a jebou 105gpm pump, only 15 or 20 dollars here on amazon. On minimum setting (85gpm) it pulls the water through the pump as robustly as it can without overflowing, so I'd imagine the smaller pump that comes with the fountains would work well on full power, with all three layers of Filtration. I used to filter there water with a PUR filter at the tap bc my picky dog can smell all the chlorine in our water around here, so he wouldnt touch it. That was an annoying task, but now I don't have to do that. These filters layered do basically the same thing. Not to mention for $45 I got enough filters to last probably a year+. Highly recommend for fountains!

These are great. I use these pads (I cut them down to size) on my reef tanks. I love this product so much that I bought the three pack. It’s the last line of filtration in my AIO tanks. Next I plan on trying out their charcoal pads. A++

I absolutely love this product. In combination with Seachem 116011709 Matrix Bio Media 1 Liter, it has my water clear and has made filter cleanings incredibly easy. Had this product in my filter for a month and when I went it to clean the filter, all the dirt was held into this amazing sponges! I simply cleaned them up til water was clear and reuse. The other media and sponges I have in there were pretty easy to clean as they were not filled with the usual muck. Strongly recommend and glad I purchased. One purchase of these babies go a long way.
