**Q: Will this work for installing an SSD in the super drive bay on an imac?  Thanks in advance**
A: Verify iMac has the necessary mounting points.  Use this kit (see link below) to install the SSD drive while retaining your Super (DVD) Drive.http://www.yourmacstore.com/internal-ssd...If above won't work and you don't want to mickey mouse mount the SSD, you can use OWC's data doubler kit to replace the Super (DVD) Drive (link below).http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20W...To use above route, make sure the SSD is connected to the SATA III port on the main board of the iMac since only 2 of the 3 SATA ports on the Mid 2011 iMac are SATA III compliant.Although, this is only relevant if your SSD is SATA III or your IMac is older than 2011.Found this too from maxupgrades.com:MaxConnect SSD bay Hard Drive kit for 2.5 inch Drive for 2011 iMac 27 Models - SZ-IMACSSDBAYMT-02 - http://www.maxupgrades.com/istore/index.... Should work if necessary mounting points for the SSD bay are in IMac. I would get the SSD first AFTER verifying it will fit in the IMac mounting points.  If the SSD is too small then you will need the AdaptaDrive, which I have used in my MacBookPro & PC's.  They are very price comepetitive & come with all parts required & so far, after installing 8 of them, no issues!  Also recommend the Samsung 840 Pro SSD.  I have 8 of the 500Gbyte! **Q: There's no picture to confirm. On the connect that the 2.5" drive connects to, will it accept a SAS drive. No Notch between power and sata interface.**
A: This is for Solid state Hard drive adapter from 2.5 to 3.5 space holder. you will need this for desktop hard drive slot.

**Q: What about the power if i want to setup a Notebook HDD into my Dektop (format purposes)?**
A: This adaptor has all the same jacks as a full-sized SATA HDD. I used this to put an SSD in my 2012 (old-style chassis) Mac Pro. It just simply screws into whatever bracket would normally be holding the HDD and then you plug the same cables into the aforementioned jacks/ports on the adaptor. You would have to look at the pictures, as it has been too long for me to remember, but I am pretty sure there are mounting holes (for the screws) on both the top and on the side of the adaptor. I used the top holes (as I have a Mac Pro) and it installed flawlessly. If it is an older Mac Pro like mine, you screw the bracket into the carrier and slide the carrier into place (as Apple has the SATA plugs set in fixed locations in the back). If you are using a PC where the SATA wires are plugged in by hand, just put the 3.5" drive in the bracket, mount the bracket just like any other SATA drive, and then plug in the cables by hand.

**Q: My imac has sata 2.0 interface (3gb/s). will this product also upgrade the speed to be sata 3.0 (6gb/s)?**
A: Hello Steve Li,Great question. The NewerTech AdaptaDrive is fully compatible with SATA I,II and III. However you will only get drive speeds if the interface your computer has. アダプターを介したSSDが認識されないことが増え、交換後半年のSSDが壊れたかと思いきや、原因はこのアダプターでした。たまに認識されない接触不良のような症状から一週間を待たず完全に認識しなくなりました。海外にハンダ不良を疑う声がありますが、自分もそのような印象を持ちました。
