LifeStraw Peak Series - Personal Water Filter Straws Backup Filtration for Emergencies, Survival, Ultra Light Hydration, Dark Mountain Grey, 2-Pack

I ordered 4 Life Straws to be used by family to take with them on hikes as a water filter and to hold in reserve for emergency water quality problems. They arrived well packaged. While I have not yet used the product, they appear to meet the description of the seller and am reasonably confident they will function well.

In an emergency these could be a life saver and considering it has no shelf life if unopened is ideal.

Haven't had to use it yet and that's a good thing. It came on time. Was well packaged. The only suggestion I would have for them is to clarify the instructions. It would seem that you need to put this in a solution of salt water as soon as you get it because it doesn't clarify that that that's only necessary after the first use. It explains that diaphragm will dry out but doesn't explain that it's fine until it's been used. Little bit of confusion and found some videos that explained it.

Purchased for our emergency kits. Haven't used them yet (hopefully won't have to), but if they do what they are supposed to do, then the peace of mind was worth the purchase.

It worked fine I assume, but it tasted terrible. Very plasticity.
