Pretty good reference
This book covers the thorax, abdomen and pelvis, but not the neck/head. Many items in each picture are labeled, but not all anatomy that one might be interested in. There is an overview picture that shows which part of the body the CT slice is referring to, but a few of these are wrong (the slice shows one notch down from the indicated location... it seems that the index image is the same as the one on the facing page, which is one notch higher). Still, a good reference to help you get oriented.

The reconstruction image quality on sagital and coronal planes is terrible.
I had the first edition of this book. A way better book. Many more images. Very disappointed in this book.Would not buy this book again. It is as though they used the same scans from the first edition. They could have used much better images. A. Shidler

... should see on a CT scan and what a good scan looks like
I use this book to test the CT techs to make sure they know what they should see on a CT scan and what a good scan looks like.

good review book
This was used in conjunction with the books that were issued to me while attending my radiology program. this is a good review book, and should not be used as a primary source. That being said, it served me greatly in applying the main concepts.

Small writing is hard to see

... if you recieve one of the editions with remarkably poor images. I was unable to keep the Brain ...
The only dissapointment is if you recieve one of the editions with remarkably poor images. I was unable to keep the Brain CT anatomy book due to this, however, the body book I received is a excellent reference

Handy and portable!
This is a very concise book which is very portable and easy to carry with you for quick reference. There are dearly many more detailed atlases but none so easy to carry around with you for checking things quickly.

CT anatomy book
This is a very good book for any student radiographers or radiographers needing to refresh their cross sectional anatomy. axial slices are clear and well labelled. my clinical lecturer has now bought one as she was so impressed.

not quite what i was looking for
The book is good for the basic anatomy and showing the levels/slices where the anatomy lies.. However, I was looking for a book with more description on how to identify structures and some basic pathologies which this book does not have
