Granddaughter was very excited to get this book

Cartoon/comic book style not like the other Big Nate books. Child enjoyed it but just a quick read.

These comedic books fit right in with the intellectual developmental stage my 4th grade grandson finds himself in. I buy them in lots of four and he eats them alive. The plots just involved enough and just wacky enough to keep active youngsters engaged in their reading.

I loved this book! It's very funny

I picked this up for my two 12-year-old boys, thinking it’d give them something light to read over the weekend. They ended up finishing it the same day it arrived. I walked into the room and found them side-by-side on the couch, laughing at the same panels and quoting lines back and forth. They both said this one might be their favorite Big Nate yet—funny, weird, and exactly their kind of humor. They've already asked when the next volume comes out, which says it all. As a parent, I love when a book gets them genuinely excited to read without it feeling like “school.” This one delivered.
