If I use four of these 225 amp hour batteries to make a 12 V battery bank How many usable amp hours would I have you can't take the battery below 50%

I don't know if the lingo is correct. But I believe you end up with 450 Amp hours. First connect two making a 12 volt . Then repeat the process . Now connect those two you've just made together.
