They sound great! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Nylon Core Strings at a fractional cost. *by A***R on 15 January 2026* The ALPHAYUE range of Thomastik is designed for the advanced students wo wants to migrate to Nylon at a fractional cost of their other nylon strings. Value for money, indeed. The sound quality, after a few days of setting-in is way superior at the price point. But, it is not designed to withstand the stress of serious soloists. My A string cracked within a few months. For the E string, I used a Spirocore instead of the Alphayue one.
