This will be my third time purchasing this dry shampoo. I have tried aerosols and other powders but this is the most cost effective and honestly the best working one I've tried. I use it at night before bed and then brush it out in the morning and it gives my hair the perfect amount of volume without making it feel heavy or gross like other dry shampoos. I will also use it after freshly washed hair to give it a little more volume when styling. Definitely don't open it all the way as it comes out fast but once you get the technique down it works well. I like it better than the pump bottle products because I found that those clog easily. With this product you can even sprinkle it on a makeup brush and apply it that way. If you're looking for an effective, safe, and cheaper dry shampoo this is the one for you!

I’ve been using this for almost two years. It took me a long time to find a good powder dry shampoo. It definitely gets the job done. Unfortunately this specific brand has carcinogens in it. Which has a lot of health effects, like cancer over a prolonged period of time. And since it’s a powder it gets all in the air, and you breathe it in. Also one time I had a small cut on my finger, and it got into the cut, and it hurt so bad, it felt like the cut had salt in it. So yes, technically a good powder dry shampoo, but not sure if it’s worth it.

I have very dark brown hair and have only ever used Batiste dry shampoo with dark tint. I’ve never used a powder without the aerosol. First, when I opened the package I realized it had a twist cap to keep the powder from leaking or dumping out if the cap gets pulled up. The flip top is on there great and then you lock it for backup so you’ll never have powder all over the place. The next thing I noticed was that the dark hair powder was not very dark at all and I was concerned it would look like I had chalk or baby powder in my hair. I was wrong. I needed a lot less of this product in my hair to do the same job. It blended in and refreshed my hair quickly. I love that it doesn’t leave dark residue all over my hair, scalp and fingers when I finish styling my hair. I always have that problem with the aerosol. I’m constantly worried that as I unconsciously adjust my hair throughout the day that it’s going to rub off on my hands and then it’s going to stain anything I touch if I don’t notice it’s on my hands. Sounds crazy, I know. It just makes me self conscious and I’m not a fan of the dark aerosol cloud that permeates my bathroom as I spray 1/4 of the can over my hair. I have switched for life and moved on from “Fisher Prices: My First Dry Shampoo.” I feel a lot more confident now and the appearance of my hair looks better than the other. It also has a very very mild lavender scent, but you can barely smell it so it won’t be an issue for people who are sensitive to scents. It’s a great product!!

This is the best dry shampoo powder I’ve found. Great price, dispenser and ingredients. It’s very finally milled and doesn’t leave a White cast or residue on my dark hair. I sprinkle it in my palm, rub my hands together and massage into scalp with my head inverted. It adds noticeable volume and a gentle fresh fragrance. You can use a generous amount and it doesn’t leave a residue. I think the key is to rub into your hands first and not to sprinkle it directly into the hair. A brush would be great too, but I don’t bother with that.

The best dry shampoo around. I first bought it in November and use it daily or every other day, my teen uses her bottle daily. I JUST purchased our second order and neither of us are quite out of the first. It smells great and doesn’t leave hair as dry and caked as spray on dry shampoos tend to.
