I had this for 9 months and one day the motor heated up so much that it the bristles burnt and bent. I had been using it for about a minute and it seemed to bog down but was still working. Then after a few minutes I noticed really excessive amounts of steam coming off of my hair and saw the burnt bristles. Thankfully my hair was ok but I had touched my hair to brush it aside and it nearly burnt my hand because it was so hot.Also the tip of it gets too hot to hold onto. Would prefer if the tip rotated with the brush.
