My laptop tends to run hot and loud when I’m editing videos or playing a demanding game. After placing it on this stand, I noticed a definite drop in temperature. The internal fans on the laptop don't spin up nearly as often, which makes for a much quieter working environment. The stand's own fans make a noise, but it's a low, consistent hum that is far less distracting than the high-pitched whine from the laptop itself. The fact it has extra USB ports is a massive help, as my laptop is short on them. The adjustable angle also puts the screen at a much more comfortable height for my neck. The coloured lights are a bit flashy for me, but they can be turned off. It’s a functional bit of kit.

This cooling fan base / stand for laptops makes a huge difference to performance of my mobile workstation when performing intensive tasks. I do a lot of 3D modelling / Rendering and when processing the files the laptop fans ore on overdrive and there have been previous occasions where I have had system crashes due to overheating. With this device in place and set up it makes a huge difference, the amount of air that is forced through the cooling vents is massively increased which in turn removes much more heat from the processor and internal components, enabling them to run faster and more reliably. I expect the same results will be gained when playing demandin games so would definitely recommend it to gamers who are having cooling issues.

This has come in very useful for keeping my old laptop running at decent speed. It's easy to set up and can hold any size laptop securely. The cooling fans work exceptionally well to me high processor demand and ranges from 500 to 4000 rpm. The led around the edges is a nice touch and can be played with to find the desired patterns and colours. A very handy device

At first I thought this was pricey for a laptop cooling unit. I am not the household expert on such things so this was handed to my teenage son as he is an avid laptop gamer, and particularly in this 30C+ heat spell has been struggling to keep things cool.It was quick and easy to set up, and colourful, but the important part that you want to hear is that it really did make a difference and kept the temperatures down. He has what is known as a 'Gaming' laptop, configured for gaming and it does suffer from thermal throttling under intense use, but this has made a huge difference.My teenage son gives it the thumbs up, which is a much better recommendation than coming from me.

I’m very happy with this cooling pad for my laptop. I’ve had previous ones in the past but this is so much better. I’ve been using it during the hot weather and it definitely makes a difference. I would definitely recommend this.
