This phone holder seems very well made and sturdy. The suction is extremely strong. So strong in fact it takes some effort to remove it to clean the windscreen so no chance of it falling off mid journey.I tried it on the dashboard also, and had the same result as you can see in the photos. It holds the phone well and doesn't allow it to rattle about as some of the other holders do. This works really well, firstly you get a couple of wipes to clean and dry the area you want to stick it. The you place it and press the button and it vacuum sucks its way onto the surface. Press the button on the side and the arms pop open, place you phone and push the arms in to grip it. The support are is adjustable so you can position the phone where you want.I did have an issue though, the bottom is sticky and i decided to reposition it. After removing it lost its stickiness and I had to use the plastic disc which comes supplied. The other thing the I noticed is the lead to recharge it is too short, I have my holder positioned far right out of the way of my windscreen view, the lead only seems suitable if you plonk it in the middle of the dash

Brilliant ! A self-sucking mobile holder. Everyone should own one ! Joking aside, as the book says - charge it up, select your desired location carefully, clean the location and deploy ! Happy days ! A holder that stays in place, even in strong sunlight. Don't forget to read the manual !
