The Mahabharata (10 vol Box Set) by Bibek Debroy (Tr.) (2015-07-01) Paperback

I started this series and quickly realized it wasn't for me. I love the philosophy and spirituality of the Mahabharata, but this starts with so many stories that are just stories that don't enlighten me or inspire me to greatness or love. I love Ramesh Menon's versions of both the Mahabharata and the Ramayana so much. The most philosophy and spirituality from all the versions that I've read, and the most poetic and beautiful as well. Also, I believe every character in this has like ten names, it was tough and unrewarding reading for me.
