This was the most enjoyable construction of anything ever! Great instructions. Extra hardware included. Loved that.The thing is very sturdy and well designed.The instructions were SOOOOO easy to follow.Don't do it without a drill. The drill made it so quick and easy.Great product.

Hardest part was building this solo. It’s easy to pull together - but would have been sped up if I was able to find another set of hands to hold the pieces together. Construction isn’t as fool proof as an IKea piece - make sure your edges line up. Once built - it is sturdy and has survived a few wind storms. Double check your space, but the upper back door opened to perfectly align with a first floor window to the house. Good buy

My daughter and I are quite happy with the catio. Easy to follow directions for the most part. No parts missing and no cracked or broken parts. About half way thru I thought maybe it was going to be kindof wobbly but it's pretty sturdy. Just make sure to check and re-tighten screws while your putting things together. Very pleased with this product.

My cat loves it. The size is perfect for her to roam around inside it. I did have a grandson who is very handy. He was able to assemble it, but if you are not good at putting things together, you might have a problem. All of the holes did align up perfectly and the directions were well written. He did anchor it to the deck and the house, so she is completely safe. I have a pet door in the family room so my cat can go in and out as she wants to.

It takes two people to build only because you have to hold the roof and the walls at some point and it’s easier with two, but the instructions are easy to follow. My cats love being able to go out and have fresh air whenever they want to. The only issue I had was that the window door doesn’t align with my window so I fixed that by opening the door all way, putting it as close to the wall as possible and then secured the surrounding space with pool noodles and zip ties and now there is no gap and I can open the window directly into the catio.

Was it worth 400.00? No, cons, the wood cracks when your trying to gently screw in the screws. The holes for the shelves 2 were not pre drilled. Yes I looked and checked the directions. The roof is enclosed but the cloth covering will not last in the florida heat. I didn't use the boxes my cat is 22lbs and wouldn't fit anyway. The shelves also cracked and didn't line up well. I had to order a set of shelve holders to install the last shelf that didn't have pre drilled holes. Pros: my cat likes it and I feel it's safe enough for her to go out and relax. My husband will repaint and seal the wood so it will last. There is also an odor with the wood so painting it and sealing it will help. I really wanted to return this item but with some modifications I hope it last.Update: I thought my cat was safe. Nope a snake got in through the holes and was fighting her. She is o.k. but now I definitely have a very over price cat cage inside my patio.

It took 3 hours to construct the approx. 6x9 size catio. It works well even for our XXL size Maine Coon cats. The cedar wood has a nice smell and seems to be a good option for weatherproof material. We liked the catio enough to purchase a second.

Ok so I am vying back and forth between 3 star and four star with this product I admit. It's a lovely piece, very esthetically pleasing to look at, but I have suggestions to make it better.1. The framing. The wood, while the new smell of it is delightful, it's flimsy and feels very delicate.2. The inside lock of the door really needs a lock to slide into. The outside locking mechanism is great! But it all works beautifully. A little more specificity with the inner lock would deffinitely be helpful in placement.3. The area is Great! My 4 cats have plenty if space to move about.4. Moving this REQUIRES 2 people once it is fully built otherwise it is a VERY big risk at breaking those delicate beams. Otherwise, it's like I said a decent piece but it deffinitely could use a bit more so that its not so delicate.
