How are these to see on a dress?

They should be fine. The stones are sparkly and lightweight. They should be perfect for a dress except a very thin fabric like chiffon.

Can I straight pin them onto styrofoam?

No. The hole goes horizontally along the bottom of the stone. You could use wire however, push it through then bend the two ends down, then into the styrofoam.

I'm not an online shopper so I was very wary about ordering these. They arrived nice and quickly and they're perfect. Right size, well priced and the quality isn't cheap and nasty either.

I loveeeee these stones. I had a bright idea to start using them in my balloon designs. I needed some thing a little different instead of using the peel and stick pearls, or just words. I decided to try these. You do need a specialty glue. I am not going to say which one I use but I can say that these stones look absolutely beautiful perfect amount for the money. I’m actually going to purchase two packs so I will be a repeat customer the delivery was on time and I couldn’t be happier. The clarity is perfect. You get a bunch of different sizes and shapes. There’s actually a couple cute little hearts in there. I could definitely see me putting this on my jean jacket on the shoulders as well or the collar. You don’t have to sew you can actually glue them on as well. So pretty, and they don’t fall off or break they are really sturdy..
