CRC Evapo-Rust, Heavy-Duty Rust Remover, Reusable, Acid-Free, Non-Corrosive, Water-based, 32 oz, Removes Rust to Bare Metal

Cleaned all the rust from tools I had neglected for too long. I can be reused which saves money. Good product.

Used to use Naval Jellÿ, but decided to give this a try this time. Took a bunch of rusty tension rods off a drum set, submerged them for about 12 hours, then poured the rust removes back into the original container and washed/dried the tension rods. Super clean! This stuff eliminated the rust completely, didn't leave any residue like the Naval Jellÿ. This says it's reusable, haven't tried that yet. But bare minimum, this stuff is legit. Just look at the pics!

I keep ordering this stuff - the price is reasonable and it works really well. Now I have a bowl with this stuff sitting around and drop rusty tools and anything I find that has rust. It’s easy and like getting new tools !

WHOA!! This product works AMAZING!!! Poured the bottle into a qt bucket, dropped in some seriously rusty items and let it sit overnight...Clean as a baby butt!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, especially bc it.is reusable!!

I had high hopes for the CRC Evapo-Rust Heavy-Duty Rust Remover, but after a few uses, I’d say it’s just okay.The value for money isn’t bad since you get a decent amount of product, but I found myself needing to use a lot of it for noticeable results. In terms of effectiveness, it does lift rust, but it’s not as powerful as I expected, especially on heavier or older buildup. The cleaning power works better on lighter rust spots rather than deeper, stubborn corrosion.The durability of the product itself is fine—it’s reusable, but the strength seems to weaken after a couple of uses, which reduces its long-term quality. Speaking of quality, the solution feels safe and non-corrosive, which I appreciate, but it’s more of a slow and steady cleaner rather than a heavy-duty powerhouse.Overall, it’s useful for lighter jobs and safe around different surfaces, but if you need something heavy-duty, this may not be the most effective option.

Worked amazing on the inside of an old motorcycle gas tank. Really cool stuff, just make sure you clean up really good before you run fuel through it.

VERY EFFECTIVE. USED THIS TO REMOVE RUST THAT HAD LOCKED UP A PISTOL. SOAKED FOR 24 HOURS. FREED UP THE ACTION AND GENERALLY CLEANED UP SURFACE RUST. VERY PLEASED. WATER BASED SO EASY TO WORK WITH.
