We have ridiculously hard water here and despite our water softener, the inside of our new dishwasher was covered in buildup that looked like chalk. I tried multiple rounds of vinegar and baking soda an about 75% still remained. In searching for some kind of solution, Lemi Shine came up. The very first time I used it, it cleaned nearly all of the buildup! I've been using it regularly ever since. Really great, effective product. Does what they claim.

This works soo well! I wasn’t expecting much because I’ve had my dishwasher for 6 years and have never cleaned off the hard water. I live in an area with major hard water. I did the first run with no dishes with just this powder and it completely cleaned off 6 years of hard water. I wish I took a before picture of my dishwasher because it was caked in white stuff all over. Now it’s looks brand new again! Now I add some with every wash and it keeps it nice and clean!

This is the only product that works with my hard water. It leaves the dishes clean and spot free. Finding this brand was a game changer! A little goes a long way.

The day I discovered this stuff, my life changed for the better! I wish I had known about it many years ago! The heating element in my dishwasher was completely coated in thick, hard white sediment. I hadn't even noticed it happening over time. Then my dishes started coming out of the dishwasher worse than they went in. Nobody would even use them any more. They were just gross. I found this product on a Google search trying to figure out what to do with my dishwasher. While I was waiting for it to get to me, I repeatedly ran the dishwasher with cups of what vinegar in on the top shelf. By the end of that day, the white scale was starting to drop off my heating element in chunks. It was hard as a rock and there was still a long way to go. Once this Lemi Shine arrived, I started running it through empty loads to finish getting all the hardened minerals out. It was a process, but it worked! Even the entire inside of my dishwasher was clean! It had been a yellowish brown for many years. So, for the past couple years my dishes have come out of my dishwasher soft, clear, and perfect! My system is this - I keep the Jet Dry always full, I add Lemi Shine Booster to one of the main detergent compartments, and best of all ..... I use any old cheap dishwasher tablets. Even dollar store ones. You don't need the fancy expensive ones ever again! As long as your Jet Dry is full, and you use this Lemi Shine, just a simple bit of detergent, literally any brand at all, will work beautifully. It just needs to have powder in it, not all the fancy colored liquids that you pay for! Give it a shot and you will never be sorry! This has saved me so much money and my dishes are always PERFECT!

Lemi Shine is absolutely amazing! I have absolutely no water spots left on any of my glasses or glass bowls! They are now crystal clear! Plus,no more mineral deposits all over the dishwasher. And, It smells good! What more could you ask for? It just delivers! Try it!

This product does a fantastic job on glasses, but be warned, do not put decorative glasses that have gold on them in the dishwasher when using this product, I learned the hard way, it'll remove the gold too.

I was really frustrated with cloudy plastic drinking bottles, shake cups and glassware. I had tried everything and every remedy. Finally I found this product and all my items from the dishwasher are so clear and pretty !! I am determined to never run out. I’m in my 3rd order of the duo pack. Excellent product. Very happy.

This stuff works great for a multitude of uses. it is marketed for dishes, so let me talk about that first. My husband is the one who does the dishes in our house. He usually uses dawn dish soap however we recently switched to a more eco-friendly plastic free dish soap option. It is a powder that you mix with water to create the dish soap. It is not Sudsy, but it works pretty well. My husband added a little bit of this dish detergent booster to the dish soap bottle and is currently washing dishes with it. I decided to write this review because of what I am hearing lol. He is saying things like, “Wow! Holey crap! Normally this pan would have to soak for so long and then I would have to scrub the shit out of it, but I just dipped it in the water and ran the sponge over it lightly and all the stuff came off.” he also was quite amused when he ran his finger across a plate and it made a squeaking noise he said “wow it’s never made that sound before.” he also said “ I can’t believe I am going to say this… But… It is better than Don.” now for its other awesome uses… I put a little bit in a bowl of water and stuck it in the microwave. Ran the microwave so it created steam. To be fair this is how I generally clean the microwave and the steam always helps so I don’t have to do much scrubbing, with this, I didn’t have to do any scrubbing just wiped everything down good as new. I sprinkled a small amount in my bathroom sink which I had filled with water. I took a cloth and wipe down mirror and counter and back of faucet. Well, the whole faucet, but the back where sometimes build up happens was extra clean. I should mention I dipped the cloth into the water in the sink before wiping these surfaces down. They looked fantastic and after draining the sink, it looks the cleanest it has ever looked. And my absolute favorite use for this product… I sprinkled a little on the crusty parts of round my burner on my gas stove. Then spray it down with my all purpose cleaner which to be fair is mostly orange oil so that could also affect things. I let it sit for a while, then scrub it off. It actually comes off, which is something I have never experienced before. No matter how often I clean under my burners it still looks gross and crusty not anymore. I love this stuff. And it does all of these awesome things without chemicals. It is going to be a staple in my house from now on.

Can't live without this stuff for our dishwasher! We have terribly hard water and was at the point of washing it out by hand every 3-4weeks due to everything slowly clogging dut to mineral build up. No products locally available and found this. Made our dishwasher like new again and works great! I wish I had a before and after photo! I use a bit with every load to prevent the build up and dishes come out nice and clear!

We were blaming the (very) old dishwasher in the house that we purchased for the streaks and cloudiness on our dishes. But when we replaced the dishwasher, we found we had the same issue and discovered that the water is really hard here. The reviews on this product were impressive although I did hesitate due to the price, but I'm very happy that I took the plunge and tried it. With the very first use, the glasses are now shiny and clear and the cutlery is starting to come back to its normal shine.

If you have any coffee drip system you cannot do without this. So many people throw their Keurig pots out when they shut themselves off without giving them the coffee. Simply run this through and your pot will last for years.
