Love this bottle
This is my first PURCHASED water bottle. Over the years, I have used many different bottles that I was given at work events, and honestly, I chose to continue using bottled water from the grocery store and just refilled it through the day.. This Camelback is the first bottle that I really enjoy using. Why do I like it?1) Large capacity, but not so tall that it is top-heavy and falls over easily.2) Soft plastic feels good in the hand, easy to grasp firmly, and is easy to squeeze.3) double-wall construction to provide insulation to keep liquids cooler longer.4) No-spill nozzle, but no cap to unscrew when "on the go".5) Lightweight6) Large cap makes this easy to clean7) No plastic taste.8) reasonable price for a quality bottle.9) The blue swirl pattern looks greatYes, I'm happy with this. Now I can contribute fewer plastic bottles to landfills and save money, too!If you find the information in this review to be helpful, please click "yes". Thanks!!

Camelbak FTW
This is a very good water bottle. Like others, I too thought it would keep water cold a bit longer. However, it's not bad at all. A few ice cubes upon fill up and it's cold/very cool for at least an hour (even when it's in the 80s outside). If you plan ahead, partial fill and freeze for 30-60 mins. That'll make up for lack of ice cubes. I suppose one day they'll find an insulation solution that works as well as the stainless steel thermos...but until then, this is your best bet. Overall, better than single wall water bottles. Perhaps an ounce heavier (due to insulating wall). Some other features I like are the twist-to-lock top (Open/Closed). Oddly enough, it's almost not necessary. This water bottle does not leak at all, even with the twist setting set to Open. It squeezes easily and the silicone drinking nib goes unnoticed (a good thing). We'll see how it holds up over the long term. For now, it rocks and is worth 5 stars. :)

Great bottle until mold took it over.
I originally was a huge fan of this water bottle. It worked great for what I needed it for and kept my water cold and was efficient to use. However this water bottle didn't last me very long due to mold.I'll start with my initial impressions of this water bottle.Initially I loved the squeeze design because you could do it with one hand, the bottle doesn't have to be in your mouth, and its great when active (running, biking, etc.). The size was also great for me, it held enough water for me to stay hydrated but not enough to over-drink myself. The stream from the bottle was also enough that I could just have to drink for a couple seconds (It wasn't like a fire hose but it also wasn't like a pinhole in a bottle). The bottle has no weird shapes or crevices that make it hard to clean or good places where mold can grow. All these things were great about the bottle and I really fell in love with this bottle at the start. After about a month I looked that the drinking cap and I saw black specs in a place where I didn't even think liquid could reach. I wish I would have taken pictures of it to post but I threw the top out before I thought about it. Now I fully understand that mold can happen and it is not an uncommon thing. However, I was always very careful to fully dry out this bottle before storing because I have been through a lot of water bottles in the past. In addition to that the mold was in such an odd place, it was in the walls of the drinking apparatus and I didn't think water really got into there. I was pretty unhappy and I realize new tops can be ordered but I don't want to have to constantly replace the tops due to mold.Overall I loved this water bottle and got good use out of it until the top molded over. I gave ti 3 stars because I do think this is a good bottle with many positive aspects but I can't look past the mold. I am pretty unhappy about the bottle but I do not hold a grudge against a company and can still realize the positive aspects about the bottle.Pros:-Good design-Good size-Good water flow-Keeps drinks cold for a good amount of time-Great for active sports (running, biking, hiking, etc)Cons:-Of course the mold but other than this there wasn't really anything that stood out to me as a con

This is a great water bottle
This is a great water bottle. I have medium sized hands and many water bottles are too big to hold onto comfortably, especially during an activity, but this one is just right. Probably the best thing about it is that it's spill proof whether it is locked or not. However, this is also proving to be a bit of a negative, since you have to squeeze the bottle to get water to come out of it. Walking or standing still, this is no problem, but running or cycling, I end up squeezing too much and get wet. This can be a good thing when it's hot outside and I need a cool off anyway, but not always. My daughter recently had a sore throat and needed water throughout the night. I gave her this filled water bottle to keep in bed with her. It was the only one we had that I was sure would not leak.

Nice wide mouth, keeps contents cold.
I bought this when I thought I had lost my old model of this bottle. The new one has a larger opening for even faster delivery. It keeps the contents cold longer on hot days than an ordinary bottle. The nipple is supposed to be removable for cleaning, but I haven't figured out how to remove it yet. Since I only put water in my bottle I haven't needed to clean it yet. The only downside to this bottle, and it shares this with its older brother, is the last little bit of liquid cannot come out through the nipple. One feature I really like is the flapper valve that prevents spills but allows the liquid to come out with just a squeeze on the bottle. I found my older one, of course, but now I use only the new one and keep the other one for use on longer rides when I need two bottles.
