Klutz Fashion Forms Craft Kit

We love this kit! Durable plastic pattern pieces with darts are used to trace and cut out panels from included beautiful patterned papers, which are then assembled with paper glue to make tiny 3-D paper women's fashion dresses.My eight year old worked diligently for half a day, mostly unaided, and made three really charming dresses on the first day. From our experience your kid will need patience, high fine motor skills, basic 3rd grade reading skills to do this without adult supervision.The styles in the kit are very classic and simple, the silhouettes provided are somewhat retro. With 18 pattern pieces and a stencil you get a pencil skirt, various fitted bodices and sleeves, an A-line skirt and a ballgown skirt that can all be combined endlessly. There is also a long coat, two styles of high heeled shoes and a couple of purses that can be made. The accompanying book of instructions and ideas is wonderfully designed.The patterns are too big for Barbie type dolls but seem perfect to fit the Tonner Little Miss Matched dolls, we will probably try using these cute little patterns to make some fabric dresses next!

Got this for my 11 year old granddaughter for Christmas and she wasn’t very excited about it even though she loves to design clothes. I think she thought she was too old for it. Oh well.

Not impressed. Daughter wanted real material.

Just isn't quite right; take the dexterity and interest of an older child since you can't really "use" them; but it's not really that much fun for an older child

I bought this for my fourth and fifth grade nieces. They LOVE it and I LOVE making things with them! It was the only gift they actually played with on Christmas day.Fun patterns, easy to follow directions. Great supplies. The glue is fabulous. You just need a microscopic drop and it holds the paper without having to hold the paper together for minutes at a time to dry.It is a perfect mix of imagination and reality.WONDERFUL product!

To be honest..I feel that I didnt quite umderstand what I ordered because it was not what I thought it was. This book teaches you how to create clothes out of paper..scrapbooking and origami. Oh well..next t

My 8 yo daughter saw this at the store and wanted it so bad, but I didn't want to pay $25 for it and find out she doesn't like it. Found it on Amazon for $20. To my surprise my daughter absolutely loves it! She plays with it all the time. I don't think she has ever has a "toy" that she has used so much. Great buy even for the cost.
