ONCE FOR ALL Safe Mandoline Slicer Plus with Peeler, Bigger Size, Black

Husband loves it. He is 6’2” and he has nice big shoulders. He can make uniform cut beautiful french fries and has zero problems shredding cabbage. The mandolin slicer is easy to use, has oodles of cool features, and is durable, sharp and doesn’t slide around. However, I am 5’7” and this is more of a workout for me. At he kitchen counter, I can do it, but my arm tires easily and my hand gets I cont because of the height issue. If I put this on the dining room table- it’s easier for me. The floor is perfect. I could slice away and I’m not worn and sore when I’m done making coleslaw. The mandolin makes it hard to injure ourselves. The mandolin is easy to disassemble for cleaning purposes. It’s not real heavy either because the majority of it is plastic. Like all lightweight items. Plastic. This is only the third mandolin I have used and it is also the best. My Moms has a closed mandolin so all the sliced material stays in one spot. It doesn’t spill and fly onto the countertop. Both of the other mandolins make it easy to slice fingers or hand parts. I recommend this mandolin as the best and safest to use with multiple options.

Exceptional in ease of use, easy cleaning, and performance. Too early to tell about long term quality but it does feel like it will last. I do a log of freeze drying and it has handled everything I have used it to slice fresh and frozen items with ease. The hopper design makes it easy to work with handfuls of chunks of food. For example, I buy large packages of ginger, peel and slice 4mm thick slices for freeze drying. With this, after peeling, I can toss in a handfuls of ginger in the hopper and slice them perfectly in a few seconds. It disassembles easily for cleaning and storage. Would absolutely buy again, and probably will as a gift.

It works quite well. I have very limited hand & wrist strength, tremors/spasms, but am able to use this on cucumbers & zuchini so far. It does take a bit of effort, but I've been able to use my forearms & elbows which has been a bit easier. I have serious hand & wrist issues, so finding anything at all that can help means a lot. It's definitely much easier & safer than using real knives. I don't think I'd be able to use it on anything too hard, like a carrot, but I think most people would be able to use it for pretty much any vegetable. The only reason I took a star off is because it's a bit difficult to clean. You have to be very careful you don't miss any tiny pieces of food that can hide in the crevices. It might be easier in the dishwasher, but I'm handwashing, so that's just my experience so far. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

The bomb! I love this! No fingers close to blades anymore. It cuts beautifully. So easy to clean. Stays stuck to the counter while you are working with it. It folds down for easy storage. Has several settings for a variety of cuts. Seems to be very sturdy as well. Has a tray that fits beneath to catch all of your cuts.

Great slicer!! Easy to set up and break down. Never used a slicer before and I'm like what have I been missing. It sliced my cucumbers and onions with ease made my pickle making a breeze. I diffently recommend this slicer way worth it. Oh and it is a sturdy slicer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Looked at many different mandoline slicer before deciding on this one....This is awesome! Work great, packs up nicely, easy to clean....I am still learning how to dial things in but overall a great purchase. Love the steady foot holds...

Edit: i’m updating the review to say that I was able to find replacement parts, but it wasn’t easy and they are only available in very limited quantity. ——————- Original review: The clear plastic pieces on this unit are incredibly flimsy. The bin that holds the food after it’s sliced developed cracks soon after I started using it, but was still useful. The real problem was the chute that hold the food that gets pressed into the blades broke. After 10 months of regular use the tab that holds it place broke off rendering the entire thing useless.Its a shame too. I credit this product with helping me me make healthy meals and losing weight. They don’t sell replacement parts and I’m sure I’ve had it long enough to be outside any warranty. I really did like this product until today.

La mandoline s’avère extrêmement pratique : elle tranche les légumes avec une grande précision. Le risque de coupure est très limité, elle se nettoie sans difficulté et les éventuels résidus se retirent facilement au lavage. C’est devenu l’un de mes ustensiles de cuisine les plus indispensables au quotidien. Je l’utilise notamment pour les tomates et les carottes, mais ça marche aussi très bien pour les œufs durs, pommes de terre, concombres, oignons...

Honnêtement c’est une petite révolution dans ma cuisine. Je suis végétarienne et dans la préparation des repas, la découpe des légumes représente un temps assez conséquent. Avec cette petite merveille, les oignons, concombres, carottes, poivrons, courgettes, poireaux etc sont parfaitement tranchés en quelques secondes et vous ne pouvez pas vous blesser. Je n’en reviens pas ! L’appareil se démonte très facilement pour le nettoyage, honnêtement je ne m’attendais pas à ce que ce soit aussi parfait. J’ai choisi le grand modèle, vous pouvez charger une bonne quantité de légumes ou fruits dans le tunnel de découpe, de larges morceaux voire des légumes ou fruits entiers ce qui est un gain de temps considérable. Bref je l’adore, j’ai hâte d’essayer de faire de frites avec. Pour les patates douces il est recommandé de les faire précuire légèrement afin qu’elles ne soient pas trop dures.
