I cannot express how soft the velvet is on this chaise. The garnet color goes with deep burgundy as well as a lighter shade, but it is not in the tomato-red family. It was very easy to put together and is sturdy. My only complaint is the buttons are loose, and I fear they will pop off in the not too distant future. That being said, this chaise is not only unbelievably beautiful, but it is sooooo comfortable. The lumbar pillow that comes with it is perfect. I was afraid the back of the chaise would not come up high enough to support by neck when lounging, but it actually fits me perfectly. I am 5'6 and my son who adores this chair is 6'1", and somehow it fits each of us just right. I would definitely recommend this chaise, and it is an excellent value for the money.

I wanted a lounging chair for my bedroom. Very beautiful, soft, sturdy and comfortable. Took less than 20 minutes to assemble, only had to attach the back and legs. Looks great in my room and I am absolutely loving it

Poorly made, we have had it for 11 months and it now needs to be thrown out. All the buttons have popped off. Now the back piece of wood that supports the back part of the seat has snapped and you can no longer use it. Wish there was a zero star!

Bought this "used" for $155. I am presuming mine was a return ?? because box looked "retaped" but everything inside was in original sealed packaging & upholstery covered nicely so all appeared brand new, therefore at half price I am happy.The color is a deeper red, more on the burgundy side than photos, but it is a beautiful piece particularly with the button-tufting. And tho true to measurements given, just somehow seems smaller than it should be, mainly because of the height. It is a bit firm to sit on but seems quite sturdy. It's just not particularly comfortable to me.So if I had paid the $300 list price I would have been disappointed. But because I only paid half of that cuz it was considered "used" I am pleased enough to give it 4 stars, but still not 5 because of color difference, size, & comfort.I am also wondering if anyone who may have returned it, didn't realize that when first opening the box it does simply look like you received a large ottoman w/out legs. 🤣At first glance it is easy to overlook this one sheet of "instructions " in such a large box. Took us a few moments of scratching our heads to realize the bottom fabric on base has velcro corners & you have to remove this fabric in order to find all of the rest of pieces & hardware. Very clever way to ship but I can see where some people may have been inclined to think once they opened the box, at first glance that they didn't receive all chaise parts/hardware and only received the base. Just a thought.Either way, it does look lovely in a corner of my bedroom. I mainly just use like a slipper chair because of height and my cat absolutely absolutely adores it 🤣😻

This item is much smaller than the photos make it seem so check the dimensions carefully. If I’m sitting on it (I’m 5’6”) my upper calves/back of my knees are at the end. It’s not a napping chaise at all. That being said - there is also NO STORAGE! They really need to remove that from any description. The “storage” is actually a hollow area under the chaise where they ship the legs and other pieces. You can’t store anything under it after you’ve assembled it. You are definitely getting what you pay for with this one for sure. It was easy to assemble though.

There have been some mixed reviews here so I purchased with caution, but honestly there was no need. This small chaise is adorable, elegant, and surprisingly comfortable. The cushion is firm. It’s very sturdy as well. I’m excited to make this my reading spot.Assembly was easy and took only about 10-15 minutes. As long as you’re aware of the measurements and know that this is a small piece of furniture for a bargain price, you won’t be disappointed!

I love my new chaise in every way! So pretty and very soft yet sturdy and durable. Gidget not so happy it's a ways to jump to snuggle with mommy but once she's up snuggling she's fast asleep. I'll try to get a picture soon.
