Schefs Premium Stainless Steel Coffee Scoop and Tea Scoop with Integrated Bag Clip

This item replaces a plastic product that came with our coffee maker; that clamp lasted several years before the hinge cracked. So far, the Schefs clamp/scoop is working as I expected. However, I actually bought it for the bag clamp. The clamp covers a 12 oz./1 lb. coffee bag completely, but is a tiny bit too short to completely seal a 20 oz. bag. The last sentence was NOT a complaint.The scoop is smaller than the scoop on my previous plastic scoop/clamp, so measuring out 60 g. of coffee takes awhile; I just pour from the bag to the filter basket. (I did not measure the capacity of the scoop as that is irrelevant to me since I use a scale.)

I love this! I never thought something so simple could be so useful. It took me a bit to adjust the amount of scoops I needed to make my coffee how I like it. The scoop is a little smaller than my previous coffee scoop, so I add an extra scoop of coffee to make up for the difference. The clip is a great addition and helps to really seal the coffee and keep it fresh in addition to the folding tabs built on the bags. The clip is longer/larger than they appear in the picture and it makes it great for reaching down in the coffee bag when it starts to get low so you don't have to pour the coffee out of the bag or get your hands dirty. Can't believe it took me so long to find this!

The scoop is fine, but the clamp is a little on the weaker side and doesn't exactly line up with the scoop. I'm used to using good bag clips on my coffee bags and this doesn't do quite the same job as those. Maybe that should be expected. It's a cool idea, but I just wish the clamp was a little stronger. It does seem to work ok if you get the coffee bag perfectly folded thin. I'll live. 4 ****

Finally, a scoop long enough to get into the bottom of the bag! The clip is a nice touch as well. Love it.

Good for the $$ and does the job. I was looking for something like this other than a clothes pin.

Works as described, the clip is a good way to keep it handy. Might have been better off with a double size scoop, but that's personal preference and not a knock on the product.

I love this coffee scoop! It is very handy because it clips right onto the coffee bag (so I never misplace it). Also, I like the scoop volume -- it is perfect for my Krups coffee maker.

I love this gadget! I always used a rubber band or clip for my coffee bag and had to hunt around for my coffee scoop. This solved both problems and it is very well made.
