Dazzne Ronin S Dual Handle Grip Ronin SC Extended Handle Grip Applicable for Ronin SC/Ronin S/MOZA Air 2 Gimbal Stabilize

Back when I started filming I got to use the Ronin-M which was a 3 handle setup which I was accustomed to, but as time went on, cameras got smaller so I opted for the Zhiyun Crane V1 which was a single handle but in 2018 cameras started to get larger again with the advent of the A7III which is why I got the Ronin-S. I was missing out on the smooth usability of the Ronin-M so I wondered if anyone made a dual handle system for the Ronin-S. To my surprise there was a company that did make a dual grip.This dual grip has a very nice black powder coat finish and features an attractive red hilights for the knobs, the mounting was straightforward and fits real snugly. I let my friend borrow my Ronin-S 2 days after I got my dual grip and got to play around with it for the two days, however once my Ronin-S was away I designed an adapter so that I would be able to use it on my Zhiyun Crane V1 which was lying around. The setup was very light on both arms since the weight is now dissipated instead of the single grip, I'm now able to hold it for a very long time. I thought I would have a little fun and mount my Feiyu G6 Plus on the mount that was provided and in all honesty this setup was actually pretty great. I got to now use my wide and tight lens at the same time with great stability, I might make a video about it on YouTube since this ridiculous setup could save the day for wedding videos.Overall this works great and I am genuinely happy about it, I think the price could be lower in all honesty since it really is just metal parts "designed" for the Ronin-S but I am lazy to make a DIY version.

After my first shoot this dual handheld grip for the Ronin S feels natural. With the dual handheld grip, it is a lot less straining on my wrists and feels like I have more stability. Tracking and panning shots are much smoother. I feel I can whip the camera around naturally.And THANK YOU for including a threaded bracket I can mount a monitor! Other companies should learn from you and stop selling necessities for extra.I found turning the arms upward was better for me to use (arms upside down as what's shown in their photos). I think it puts my hands a little closer to the CG of the gimbal+camera, which feels more stable with the weight of the Red. This likely isn't necessary with a normal DSLR. However, I noticed flipping the arms lowered the camera making it easier for me to see the monitor and puts it in the camera chest/neck height I prefer.A couple great things about the grip:- very easy to install and remove.- it clears the tripod feet so you can still set it down- the locking mechanism is very quick to remove.- Solid build. Feels high quality, with some heft, and no worries about it slipping or sliding, bending or breaking.- There are 1/4in threads everywhere. Lots of options to mount accessories.Cons- It would be nice if the posts were removable to pack smaller.This may never come off my gimbal.

Having previously used a dual handle setup on my older gimbals, I knew i would want one for my new Ronin-S.When i stumbled on this, i knew i had to try it, and at the price, it was worth the gamble. Boy, I’ll tell ya, I’m glad i did.Not only has it been a game changer for being able to control my Ronin-S the way i wanted, whether just using my camera, or using it with the my 7” Display also.This is a well thought out piece, with not only loads of adjustability, but with mounting holes EVERYWHERE for accessories.Which has really been one of my favorite things about this.I have been able to play with my setup, and change my screen and mic to so many different positions, until i was happy with the weight balance, and usability.For my last shoot. I just left the screen attached to the dual handle, and was able to remove it completely within seconds, by just unscrewing the main clamp. This way, i was able to transition from my heavier setup without having to fidget with my setup forever.GAME CHANGER in my run and gun setup!

I absolutely love this handle as the Ronin S has few places to attach needed accessories to. I have attached a Zoom H6 audio recorder to. I have attached two different Aputure lights to mine, one is a Aputure M9, and the other is an Aputure HL198. Their new F7 model would be abetter choice. The box that it came in has the very sturdy foam which could be used to store or transport the Dazzne Dual handle grip. I have in my photos have a Panasonic Lumix G7 camera attached. The unit comes with one adjustable mounting point. It would be nice if it came with two of them, one for each side of the handle. In addition there is one 1/-20 tapped hole on each end of the handle that could be used to mount other accessories like a shotgun microphone.Plenty of tapped holes on the handles and the top parts of the grips. I have mounted Promediagear CS2 cold shoe mounting plates to the 1/4-20 threaded holes that will allow for quick attachment of lights and other accessories.Having two hand grips makes it easier to hold the Ronin S with various accessories mounted to it. I have also used this with a Nikon D500and a Nikon 14mm lens atrached.

I purchased this before a production. I had some issues with the thumb screws falling off so I was unable to tighten the handles.After reaching out to the seller with the problem, they quickly sent me a new product. Giving 4 stars for the customer service and 3 stars to the product. It works well but did have quality issues first time around. Will update once the new handle goes through the ringer.

Really excellent product! The dual handles provide a ton of extra stability as well as extra mount points for monitors, batteries, etc. we just got back from a week long shoot in Africa where we used a RED on a Ronin-S and we couldn’t have done it without these handles. Absolutely a must-have for all Ronin-S owners.

I never write reviews, but this product is awful. The two handles aren’t tight enough, so my ronin keeps twisting down, because of the weight being top heavy
