I paid 3 times the cost of the product, I can't say if that was a wise decision, I was really testing the waters as I had never ordered from amazon.jp, But I am glad to say that this sharpal device helps you in maintaining the angle as you sharpen the blade with quite a good amount of accuracy, Since I already have a hang of it, This allows me to be a bit more precise. Also its got a magnetic base and not grinding on the stones surface hence its not going to wear out unless the magnet itself looses its magnetic strength. It's good for beginners who would prefer freehand sharpening on stones.Point to be noted - It will not work on small knives. Best for kitchen / chefs knives

包丁に依って角度を調整出来るので重宝してます。

コンセプトとしては面白い商品と思います。V金10号とかのステン系材料の包丁にもきちんとくっ付きます。要望として、ベタに砥ぎたいこともあるので15deg未満の角度にも刻みを入れて欲しいのと、オイルの粘度を下げてもう少し泡の移動を機敏にして欲しいな、と思っています。

包丁研ぎの解説に〇〇度という解説がよくあるのですが、どの程度傾ければ良いのか、研いでるときにブレてないか等、初心者として分かりにくかったのですが、包丁にこれを付けると研いでる時に角度が視覚化できてとても良いです。研いでる時に角度はこれぐらいだなという目安が分かるので、初心者には分かりやすく良いのではないでしょうか。

初めて砥ぐ刃物にこれをつけて角度を確認してた後砥ぎ始めるつけたまま研げないこともないけど邪魔でしょう人間の角度の感覚など曖昧なものだとわかりました
