Skyline Original Chili Pouch - 14 oz

I loved this but don’t think it’s worth the cost. I’m from Cincinnati, Ohio the home of Skyline Chili. I’m 66 years young and left my hometown in 1998. I buy the canned version from my local Kroger (also company’s corporate home). I love, love, Skyline and grew up on their chili dogs!!!!! Because if price I’ll continue to purchase the canned product from my local Georgia Kroger!

As the item shipped to me had expired 7 months before I received it, there is nothing good I can say about this product - other than buyer beware.

This product appeared to have less meat than the restaurant product. I just loved how easy it was a to make a meal of it. I used to use the package mix but I had pots to clean and it took all day. The size of serving is perfect.

A wonderful unique blend of herbs, this Greek chili is unsurpassed.

This was not the best retailed Skyline product by a long shot. I've tried the canned version and the frozen version so when I saw these packets I was super excited! Watery, lacking in the usual Skyline flavor. I was pretty disappointed.

This is a regional chili. If you like runny cinnamon tasting chili this is it. I works best over noodles. I prefer Los Angeles chili like Original Tommys or its progeny, thick and hearty.

Love this treat from the Cincinnati area!The cinnamon & chocolate undertones make this such a fantastic chili. Great for making Chili Macs.

Noodles don’t hold up. If you’re ordering skyline on the internet it probably means you can access it on the reg. I’m in the same boat, but cans of Skyline turn out waaaaay better. If you must do the pouch, and I completely understand depending your craving level, consider adding some additional spaghetti.
